Sydney Swan, the adopted daughter of Charlie Swan, has always been different from her older sister, Isabella. While Isabella was clumsy, Sydney, or Syd as her close family and friends call her, was graceful and into sports. From a young age Syd was always into martial arts and self defense, she also was a BMX Racer and a XDL motorcycle stuntman. At the age of ten, Sydney learns about her biological father and that she isn't fully human.
When Isabella was two and Sydney one, Renee leaves Charlie taking Isabella with her. With Renee abandoning Sydney and Charlie, Sydney grows to hate her mother and older sister. As Sydney grew, she noticed that she wasn't normal, from having a quicker hummingbird like heartbeat to being able to see, hear and smell things better than others. However there was an ability that Syd had ever since she was a young girl. That ability was Eagle Vision and as she grew older she had developed it into Eagle Sense. Having this ability has saved Syd on numerous occasions and it also was helpful for when she was racing.
When Sydney begins high school a new family moves to Forks. Right away Sydney knows that they are different and like her in some way. Over the next two years, Sydney becomes close friends with the Cullen children but she can't help but feel attracted to their older brother figure, Carlisle Cullen. As soon as Carlisle meet Sydney, he knew that she was his mate but he wanted to know her better before telling her that she was his mate.
When Isabella returns to Forks, what trouble will she bring and what will happen when Isabella starts to become obsessed with one of the Cullen children, Edward Cullen. What will Sydney do when she learns that Carlisle is her mate? How will Charlie react to the news of Sydney finding her mate in the town's newest doctor? How will Sydney react when she finds out that she has a second mate in Volterra , Italy?
