Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.

-Winston Churchill

I let go of my bleeding side, pulling the pin, my ears barley registering the noise of the pin hitting the floor...the tiny clink before I tossed it backwards...the immediate screams...sounded just like my mothers when she heard the charges...the sound of disbelief...of uncertainty and fear...soon to be followed by the sound of fire and death.

I ducked and covered my ears as the blast tore through the men, the chunks hitting the ceiling sounding like hailstones on glass...everything was shattering...the tiles wouldn't stay together...I closed my eyes and shakily grabbed the pistol on the man's side...looking right into the hole I put in his neck the momment I opened my eyes, I got up spinning around raising the pistol.

But there where no survivors. I looked over each of their faces and started to shake, I couldn't keep myself straight, I stumbled into the managers office, ripping open his desk and taking the dose I missed, downing it with a bottle of water from his fridge...I didn't hesitate to call Doc G after that.

"Y/N! You're there, we see the mine. We see...corpses...there are more masks en route to your location." I put him back in my pocket, walking back into the lobby and grabbing all the grenades I could find. Two flash two frag "How many doctor G." I asked the phone "Four, they seem to be the last ones, we got them you just stay put." I put two rounds through the lobby window tossing the flashbangs,

"Doctor G they poked the bear, they need to get bit." I tossed the two frags right as the Flashbangs went off. "Y/N what are you-" I heard the bang, the walls shaking in anger at my audacity. "Clear...Y/N get out of there." I noted the sound of the helicopter coming, I had guessed it was Doctor g, so I limped out of the door, looking up at the Blackhawk about to land "Hello doctor." I wheezed, right as the world turned, I fell to my knee. Unable to breath...my vision churning side to side. I felt footsteps but couldn't hear them, and then, I collapsed. The world faded into darkness...sweet...darkness...
