Otto Hightower stood with an angry and nervous look towards the assassins who were walking slowly and dressed in black all over their body and face. They looked straight at him and Otto backed away with every step they took towards him and Otto held up his hands to show a stop in front of them. Otto had started to approach the water towards the coast of the cave and thought now this is the end. But just as the assassins took a step towards the light, one was shot down by an arrow and fell to the gravel dead. "Yes I knew what Daemon was up to." Lanos walked over until Otto put away his crossbow.

"And you chose and save me?" Otto asked.

"I chose to save a councilor who I know believes in his Queen."

"You always stood by Daemon's side all these years."

"As Master of the City I needed to do my duty by making Daemon do as the Queen's Law said and I knew as well as you that Daemon doesn't let anyone rule over him. He did a good job, but thanks to many others within this family so chaos has ruled all of Westeros. I know there's more to your past too Otto. Let's ally and explain everything to Aelora. She trusts you as much as she trusts me, a worthy Hand to have. You understood that Aelora was the right choice for the Throne."

"I did. And I've been trying to keep the realm at peace during her passing and she's going to be absolutely furious with anything we're going to tell her." Otto said.

"Let Aelora be angry or mad. She has lived in torture in her war in Essos, this was not what she expected to get for her homecoming. She has barely been Queen for six years on the Iron Throne and has yet to take a single real break in between everything. Not even us." Lanos said.
