"That's so cool!" shouted Pota in the space shuttle. "We're seeing the second brightest planet in the magical dimension."

"But remember to behave submissively," said the elf witch Gigi. "On Hikarix, everything is still done according to the old traditions of the nobility. That's why you need me to even get to the royal family. But at least Trisha and Mason have a few more opportunities."

The Moonix girls nodded.

"Maybe you'll have luck," said Gigi. "This evening, Queen Richelle will appoint one of her children as her successor. It will be a big celebration and many royal families and other nobles are invited. You probably won't be allowed to go to the party, but the guards will be there most of the time."

"Thanks for the information," said Michella.

"I really wonder what your mission is," said Gigi, smiling. "But I know it's top secret."

"Believe me, we don't know exactly either," said Trisha. And she wasn't wrong. They knew they should look for the soul of the fairy Mayari, but it could be hidden anywhere. One of the Moonix Girls would probably sense it, just like Florenzia had found the fairy Jacira. But that's all they knew. Fiora had only said that the Moonix Girls might have to cross a few boundaries of what was allowed, but she wanted to take responsibility for that.

"And always remember that," said Bianca, who felt very comfortable in her role. "You are my servant and my protector if anyone asks."

"Why am I the servant?" asked Alejandro. "Nobody will believe you're a blind protector."

Hagazussa hit Alejandro's shin with her stick without saying a word.

"Ouch!"

"Shut up!" said Bianca and fetched an invitation that Argon had got for her. She gave it to the guard.

"A member of the highest royal family," said the guard, astonished. He gave a magical signal and an older gentleman came to him. "The young lady claims to be from the royal house of Magix."

"Lord Keyron, we have already met," said Bianca and curtsied slightly.

"Princess Bianca," he said, surprised. "I haven't seen you for years. Please excuse our mistrust."

"It's fine," said Bianca with a smile. "I know the reason. Who, if not me, knows that my father is keeping me a secret. But because of the close friendship between the royal house of Hikarix and Magix, I wanted to pay your beautiful planet another visit."

The Lord nodded vigorously. "Come, come. I'll take you and your companions to the queen right away."

"That was almost too easy," said Bianca when she was taken to a reception room.

"And your father didn't warn anyone?" asked Hagazussa.

"I doubt it," said Bianca. "If everything goes well, we can move around freely here. Let's play the good guys for once by protecting the queen's belongings from the evil Moonix Girls."

Alejandro and Hagazussa grinned.

Queen Richelle entered the room and Bianca immediately curtsied deeply and motioned for the others to do the same.

"My dear child," said the old queen. "It's been a long time since I saw anyone from the royal family of Magix. I thought Magix had forgotten us. But how nice that a sign was sent to us. And then the child of light."

Alejandro had to suppress a laugh.

"The honor is all mine, Your Majesty."

"Let me give you a hug, my child," said the queen, who didn't notice Bianca's dark heart, which was far darker than her light magic. "I will immediately prepare a room for you and of course for your servants too. We have so much to talk about."
