After running away for a few weeks, Hana found herself in a dingy motel room, the last few dollars she had crumpled in her pocket. The memories of the flower shop, of Seonghwa's gentle touch and kind words, seemed like a distant dream. But she knew she couldn't keep running forever. To be free, she had to face her past.

One rainy evening, with her resolve hardened, Hana decided to confront the source of her fear: a man known only as "Viper." Viper was a figure of menace, a powerful and dangerous man who controlled the darkest corners of the city. He was the one she had escaped from, the one who had treated her as nothing more than a possession.

Hana knew this confrontation couldn't be approached recklessly. She had spent the last few days planning her next steps meticulously. She had memorized the layout of Viper's usual haunts, noting the security details and potential escape routes. She even managed to acquire a small knife, concealed beneath her jacket, hoping it might provide some leverage in her desperate bid for freedom.

As she walked into the luxurious, dimly lit club where Viper conducted his business, her heart pounded in her chest. She moved with purpose, scanning the room for signs of danger. Her eyes landed on a familiar figure— a petite girl with a thin body, long, wavy light purple hair, and a pale skin tone that made her look like a fragile, pretty doll. Her old friend, Lila. Lila's eyes widened in shock and concern when she saw Hana.

"Hana, what are you doing here? You SHOULD not be here! run away!" Lila whispered urgently, grabbing her arm.

"I have to face him, Lila. I can't keep running," Hana replied, her voice trembling but determined. "I need to get my mother's locket back. And I want you to come with me. We can escape together."

Lila's eyes widened with a mix of fear and hope. "I want to, Hana, I really do... but I'm scared. What if something goes wrong? What if we can't get away?" she hesitated, her voice barely above a whisper.

Before Hana could respond, a heavy hand landed on Hana's shoulder. She turned to find herself face-to-face with Viper. His cold eyes glinted with recognition and something more sinister.

"Well, well, look who decided to come back," Viper said, his voice a low, dangerous purr. "I've been looking for you."

Hana swallowed hard, trying to keep her fear at bay. "I'm not here to run anymore. I'm here to settle things."

Viper's lips curled into a cruel smile. "Settle things? You think you can just walk in here and—"

Before he could finish, Hana swiftly reached for the knife, but one of Viper's bodyguards was faster, disarming her with a brutal twist of her arm. Panic surged through her as she realized her plan had already fallen apart. The knife clattered to the ground, a symbol of her failed attempt at control.

"You thought you could challenge me?" Viper laughed, his voice dripping with mockery. His fingers dug into her flesh as he pulled her closer, his other hand roaming her body with greedy familiarity. "You're more foolish than I thought."

Hana's resolve wavered as the nightmarish reality of her situation sank in.

"You don't own me anymore," she said, her voice shaking with a mix of fear and anger.

Viper laughed, a cold, hollow sound. "You think you can just walk away from this? You belong to me, Hana. And you always will."

Lila tried to intervene, but she was quickly restrained by another guard. "Please, don't do this," she pleaded, her voice breaking. "She's been through enough."

Ignoring her, Viper leaned down, his face inches from Hana's. "You're mine, Hana. And I'm going to make sure you never forget that."

Hana's world spun as she was dragged away, her screams echoing in the club. The last thing she saw was Lila's tear-streaked face, mouthing words of apology and desperation.

Hana was thrown into a dark room, the door slamming shut behind her. Her body ached, and her mind raced with fear and despair. She knew what was coming. The darkness closed in around her, suffocating her hope.

She staggered to her feet, trying to gather her scattered thoughts. The room was cold and empty, save for a single flickering light bulb that cast eerie shadows on the walls. Her breath came in ragged gasps as she backed into a corner, trying to make herself as small as possible.

The door creaked open again, and Viper stepped in, flanked by his men. His eyes glinted with cruel amusement as he approached her.

"Did you really think you could escape me?" he sneered, his voice low and menacing. "You're mine, Hana. And I'll remind you of that every single day if I have to."

Hana's voice trembled as she spoke. "You can't keep doing this to me. I won't let you."

Viper laughed, a harsh sound that echoed off the walls. "You're in no position to make demands. You belong to me, and you'll do as I say."

He grabbed her by the chin, forcing her to look into his cold, merciless eyes. "You've been a very naughty girl, Hana. Running away, trying to defy me. It's time you learned your place."

Hana's resolve wavered as she was dragged to the center of the room. One of the men yanked her arms behind her back, securing them with rough rope. She winced in pain, but bit her lip to keep from crying out.

Hours felt like days as she endured the brutal treatment from Viper and his men. They taunted her, their hands and words leaving invisible scars on her soul. Every moment was a reminder of the life she had tried so hard to escape, the life that had stolen her dignity and left her feeling worthless.

"Please," she whispered, her voice cracking. "Just let me go."

Viper smirked, leaning down to whisper in her ear. "Begging won't save you, Hana. You're here because you need to be taught a lesson."

Tears streamed down her face as she endured the torment. She had hoped that facing Viper would give her a chance to reclaim her freedom, but now, it seemed like she had only plunged herself deeper into the abyss.

As the night wore on, Hana's spirit wavered. She thought of Seonghwa, of the safety and warmth of the flower shop. She remembered the way he looked at her, his eyes filled with kindness and understanding. She clung to those memories, using them as a lifeline to keep herself from drowning in the darkness.

"I won't let you break me," she muttered under her breath, though her voice was barely audible.

Viper's eyes narrowed as he heard her defiance. "Oh, but I will. And by the time I'm done with you, you'll wish you had never tried to leave."

Hana's cries echoed through the empty halls, a haunting sound that spoke of her suffering and despair. She felt her strength ebbing away, but she refused to let go of the hope that Seonghwa had given her.
