Hana turned, her eyes widening with a mix of shock and relief. "Seonghwa!"
Viper, already there with a sinister grin, watched as Seonghwa burst into the room flanked by three men in uniform. "You're not taking her anywhere," Viper snarled, signaling his men to attack.
Seonghwa didn't hesitate. He lunged at the man holding Hana, his fists flying. The two grappled fiercely, trading punches. Hana, too exhausted, started to lose consciousness but Lila, her only friend, supported her.
Seonghwa called out, "San, Wooyoung! Protect the girls!" San and Wooyoung moved swiftly, positioning themselves in front of Hana and Lila, shielding them from the oncoming thugs.
San, blocking a punch aimed at Hana, shouted, "Stay behind us. We've got this!"
Wooyoung, throwing a quick glance at the struggling Seonghwa, quipped, "Didn't know the flower boy could fight." He then delivered a swift kick to an attacker, sending him sprawling.
Hongjoong, a bit shorter but no less fierce, was beside Seonghwa, taking down thugs with precise, powerful moves. "Yeah, well, there's a lot you don't know about me," Seonghwa replied, landing a solid blow.
Hongjoong chuckled as he sidestepped a punch, delivering a counterattack. "Hey, shortie! Keep up!" Wooyoung yelled playfully.
"I'm only 1cm shorter, you idiot!" Hongjoong retorted, flipping an attacker over his shoulder.
The fight was chaotic and brutal. Blood splattered as fists and kicks flew, the room filled with the sounds of grunts and impacts. Hana, protected by San and Wooyoung, could only watch in a daze as Seonghwa and Hongjoong fought valiantly.
Viper watched, unimpressed, and finally stepped forward, pulling out a gun. "You should have stayed out of this," he sneered at Seonghwa, aiming the weapon with a cruel smile. "This is your last mistake."
Seonghwa froze, his mind racing, calculating his next move. But before Viper could pull the trigger, Lila, gathering her last reserves of strength, leapt between them. "Don't!" she screamed, throwing herself in front of Seonghwa.
The gunshot echoed through the club, and time seemed to stand still. Lila collapsed to the floor, blood staining her clothes. Seonghwa's heart lurched, and he caught her before she hit the ground.
"Lila!" Hana cried, rushing to her friend's side as San and Wooyoung continued to fend off the remaining attackers.
Hongjoong, seeing Lila fall, yelled, "San, call an ambulance, now!"
Seonghwa held Lila, his hands trembling. "Why did you do that?" he asked, his voice choked with emotion.
Lila smiled weakly, her breath coming in shallow gasps. "I couldn't let him hurt you. Hana...she needs you."
The police, led by Hongjoong, finally arrived, storming the club and overpowering Viper and his men. Seonghwa cradled Lila as Hana knelt beside them, tears streaming down her face.
"Stay with us, Lila," Hana pleaded. "We're going to get out of here. Together."
Lila's eyes fluttered, and she managed a faint nod. "You have to...live...for both of us," she whispered before her eyes closed, her breathing slowing.
As Viper was dragged away, he snarled, "This isn't over!" but his threats were lost in the chaos.
Seonghwa and Hana held each other, their tears mingling with the blood on the floor. The nightmare wasn't over, but they had each other, and that was enough to give them hope.
