Seonghwa and Hana sat side by side, their hands intertwined, outside the operating room. Lila's life hung in the balance, and the weight of the past days bore heavily on them. The tension in the air was palpable as they waited for news.
Hongjoong, Wooyoung, and San were outside, bringing back food and supplies. Their presence, while comforting, couldn't fully dispel the anxiety that clung to Seonghwa and Hana.
As they sat in silence, the doors to the waiting area swung open, and a young woman walked in with a tall, serious-looking man. Hana's eyes widened in recognition. It was the girl she had seen in the club, the one who had told Seonghwa about her.
The woman approached them with a gentle smile. "Hana, right?" she asked softly.
Hana nodded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Yes. You're the one who helped me."
The woman nodded, her eyes glistening with empathy. "I'm Yuna. This is my boyfriend, Mingi."
Mingi extended his hand to Seonghwa, who shook it gratefully. "Thank you for coming," Seonghwa said, his voice filled with emotion. "And thank you for helping us."
Yuna smiled warmly. "I couldn't just stand by and do nothing. When I saw Hana, I knew something was terribly wrong. I had to find you."
Hana's eyes filled with tears. "Thank you, Yuna. You saved my life."
Yuna shook her head. "I only played a small part. Mingi has been looking into Viper for a long time. When I saw you, I knew I had to get you out of there."
Mingi nodded. "Viper has been on our radar for years. Human trafficking, forced prostitution, and countless other crimes. We've been trying to bring him down, but he always slipped through our fingers."
Seonghwa looked at Mingi with determination. "What happens now?"
Mingi's expression turned serious. "Now that we have him, we're going to uncover every crime he's committed. We'll bring justice to all the victims."
Hana shuddered at the memory of Viper's cruel eyes and ruthless demeanor. "He has so many secrets, so many hidden crimes."
Yuna placed a comforting hand on Hana's shoulder. "We'll make sure he pays for everything he's done."
Hana glanced at Seonghwa, her eyes reflecting a mixture of gratitude and sorrow. "I don't know how to thank you enough. You saved me, even when I had given up hope."
Seonghwa squeezed her hand. "We'll get through this together. You're safe now."
Just then, Hongjoong, Wooyoung, and San returned with food and supplies. "Got everything you need," Wooyoung said cheerfully, trying to lighten the mood.
San handed Hana a sandwich. "Eat something. You need your strength."
Hana took the sandwich, grateful for their kindness. As they all settled down to eat, Mingi's phone buzzed. He glanced at it and then turned to Yuna. "We need to get to the police station. There's a lot to be done."
Yuna nodded and stood up, looking back at Hana and Seonghwa. "We'll keep you updated on everything. Stay strong."
Hana stood and hugged Yuna tightly. "Thank you, Yuna. For everything."
Yuna smiled, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "Take care, Hana. We'll make sure justice is served."
Mingi and Yuna left, their presence a beacon of hope in the midst of the darkness that had consumed Hana's life.
As they walked out, the doors to the operating room opened, and a doctor emerged. Everyone stood up, hearts pounding, as they awaited the news.
