Once they had all gotten back to the bunker, a girl called Maisy, one of the schools drama queens, went onto a high platform to get everyone's attention.
" okay girls, and Kai, I think we shouldn't leave this bunker anymore, unless we are extremely sure that it's safe." Maisy said as she got a pen out of her bag and a piece of paper.
" everyone, write your names down on this piece of paper. We will use it as a register, just incase anyone's gone" Maisy then went back down and started talking to a girl called gayla.
Everyone went back to chatting again, and Kai just sat in the corner.
" why do I have to be in a bunker with girls! I want to see my friend, deacon!" He huffed and sat down on the dusty chair Sophie had when they had first got into the bunker.
" okay now let's go get Sophie so we can tell her the good news!" Ayera said to Amelie, and they went budging by everyone to look for her.
" where is Sophie? Should we go get the others to find her too?" Ayera asked.
" yeah...I think we should" Amelie turned around to get pheobe, and Ayera get Laura.
Ayera felt someone tap her on the shoulder, and whipped her head around to see who it was.
" what is it Megan?"
" here's the paper and pen, write your name on it then give it to someone else" Megan then went back to her friends.
" eh, okay" she scribbled her name down and quickly passed it to someone else.
" have you found her?" Ayera asked pheobe.
" afraid not," pheobe exchanged a glance with Amelie and back to Ayera,
" we believe she was shut out of the bunker when we all got back in"
Ayera gasped.
" no! Surely not, there has to be a mistake! She is here, just lost somewhere. Plus, we'll find out anyway when Maisy reads out the registration." Ayera said and ran off to the nearest point of the platform in the bunker to hear Maisy read out the names.
" Maisy! Oh wait, that's me of course.." Maisy adjusted the paper and began again.
"Kai" she asked, Kai responded.
" Evelyn" she asked, Evelyn responded, and so on.
Ayera began to fall asleep.
" Ayera!"
She quickly tilted her head up.
" oh uh here!" She screamed awkwardly.
" okay..that leaves Sophie."
" Sophie!" Maisy screamed.
No one responded.
Ayeras eyes widened.
This can't be happening...right!? She's ok...shes ok. No one is here but us and the boys, what could really harm us? Surely the gun shot we heard was just the boys accidentally shooting the gun...
" okay guys..we don't have Sophie. I think we should leave it till morning for now, and maybe try going out tommorow." Maisy said and went off the platform.
Ayera stalked over to her,
" what! Leave it till morning! She could be dying out there for all we know!" Ayera raged.
Maisy put her hand up in ayeras face.
" listen, I'm sure she's alive. The boys aren't gonna kill us!" She laughed.
" well why did you rush into the bunker when the gun shot fired?" Ayera asked.
" because..I- ugh, fine. We will have a look tomorrow, but if you really want, you and your friends can go early." Maisy sighed and went off to the cabin bedrooms.
Ayera called the group over, not including Erin.
" okay, so we are gonna go out very early in the morning, okay guys? Cause I am pretty tired.." Ayera yawned, and stretched.
" roger that!" Pheobe said.
" sure" Laura agreed and went to the cabin beds, followed by the others.
