It was early in the morning, birds were
chirping outside and the sun peeked
through the sky shyly. Everyone was
sleeping peacefully in this beautiful
weather but one soul was in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for everyone.
When everyone's favourite breakfast dish was prepared she was busy then preparing His breakfast. She was very careful while making it, cause she knew that if it's not perfect and tasty the consequences won't be good.Everyone was in the dining table having their
breakfast and she was standing there, only serving them. She wasn't allowed to sit with them because as for them she was just a maid in the name of His wife. She was even scared to ask them about dishes if it tasted good or not.She was scared to speak Infront of them.
"The Food is very saltyy! It's not even eatable!"
Her sister-in-law made a disgusting face while saying it.
Hearing her voice her brother-in-law snickered.
Even her husband didn't eat the breakfast fully and left it half eaten.
Tears gathered into her beautiful eyes. Yes! maybe she wasn't a perfect cook but she made all the dishes with love.
"Abbu! Ammu! Look I cooked something!"
Alana expressed with excitement to her parents.
"My! My! My baby cooked for us?"
Alana's eyes sparkled with happiness seeing their eagerness.
"Yes! Ammu abbu I cooked Maggie for you guys!"
They smiled at her softly.
"Won't you guys taste it"
"Yes sure baccha! You made something for us with soo much love. How can we not taste it!"
They sat together and had the noodles.
Remembering the past a sudden kind of pain Grew in her heart. She has no one in this family to share her pain and feelings. Everyone in this family hates her and constantly hurts her.
Everyday she promises that she would try hard to gain their approval but the more she tries the more they push her.
