"An aquarium?!"

Nene holds up the tickets to me. "Yoisaki-san.. she said her grandmother got her a bit too many. So when I was hanging out with her and Hoshino the other day, she decided to give me some."

Just like the tickets from the bug exhibit (I shudder at the memory), each one admits two. The thought of going to an aquarium is undoubtedly much better than.. Rui's offer. See, it's something all of us agree on, rather than having to challenge someone into going.

Example, me. And Nene, I guess, but this isn't about her.

"Let's go!!" Emu exclaims, practically snatching the tickets from Nene's hands. She waves them in the air, the greenette quickly working to get them back. "Let's have a wonderhoy aquarium date, everyone!!"

"Wait, a DATE?!" I cry out, my eyes widening. "I thought this was just going to be a normal hangout!"

"Why, does Tsukasa-kun not want to go out on a date?" Rui asks me, pouting. That little-!

"Yeah!" Emu nods, running up to me and pouting. "Come on, let's go on an adventure together! Pleaseee!!!???"

"I'M NOT SAYING NO TO IT?!" I scream, "I'M JUST SAYING IT ISN'T A DATE!"

Nene smirks, snatching the tickets back from Emu's hand while she's distracted. "Not yet, it's not."

I pause, staring down at Nene with an expression of the utmost confusion.

"What the hell does THAT MEAN-"

I FUCKING LOVE THE AQUARIUM.

Sorry, I'm getting a bit out of hand. But I will be honest and say that I absolutely love the aquarium! I went a few times when I was a kid with Saki and Toya, and even Saki's friends and Shizuku- and it never failed to amaze me! I love seeing all the animals, the colours are super pretty, and everything is just so cool in general!

I know it's a bit childish, but come on, we're allowed to be as childish as we want about the things we love!

Rui keeps on ranting about the fun facts about each animal we pass by- and he's not even reading from the little stands of information. I suppose that's just how he is.

Emu points at a starfish, grinning brightly. "Tsukasa-kun, look!" She exclaims, waving me over. "It's you!"

I follow Emu's gaze, looking down at the orange starfish that lays on the ground inside the tank. "The starfish?" I ask, and Emu nods, proud of her deduction.

"Yup! Because Tsukasa-kun is a mega super duper cool star, even in the sea!" She explains. And I can't help but revel in the compliment.

"HAHAHA!!" I burst out in a loud laugh, spinning around and striking a pose. Other people stop to look at me- they're probably captivated by my beautiful star-like presence! And those who look away are simply just blinded by my brightness! "Of course I am, Emu! Praise me more, for this star shall accept any kind words thrown his way!"

"How humble," Nene mumbles under her breath, hiding behind Rui. Speaking of, he just completely ignores my outburst, staring deeply into one of the other tanks as he mumbles to himself in a rate so fast you could probably make a beat with it.
