My eyes fluttered open, looking at the unfamiliar room. There was a photo on Aaron's nightstand of Jack and him on Halloween, the boy dressed up in a suit and tie.
Aaron's arms were tight around me, but I managed to slip out without causing him to stir. I quietly walked over to his dresser and opened a drawer. I slipped out a white T-shirt and a pair of boxers.
I stripped off the clothes I had on and folded them neatly. After setting them in my bag, I pulled on his boxers and his t-shirt. I idly thought about why I even packed a bag, I loved wearing Aaron's clothes.
I looked over at Aaron, snoring lightly on the bed. I walked over to his side of the bed and lightly brushed his hair out of his face. I love how peaceful he looks when asleep.
I turned towards the door and headed out to the kitchen. I opened drawers and cabinets, pulling out flour, sugar, bowls, spoons, and chocolate chips. After tossing all the ingredients together, I got a pan out and started melting some butter.
The batter spread in the pan and I topped it off with some chocolate chips. As the pancake browned, I got three cups out of the cupboard and poured OJ into the glasses. One by one, the cooked pancakes stacked up on the plate.
Arms wrapped around me from behind, hugging my ribs tight.
"Mmm, good morning," Aaron said, burying his face in my neck.
"Good morning," I said, flipping the pancake in front of me.
"You snuck out this morning." He said, groggily.
"I didn't want to wake you," I said, giggling. I spun around to meet his face, my arms wrapping around his waist.
He leaned down and picked me up by my thighs, then turned and placed me on the counter. His hands slid up my thighs, fingertips smoothing over his boxers.
"You look so good in these." He said, dragging his fingers over the fabric. You could just barely see the bottom of them under this shirt, they looked like shorts.
I slipped my arms around his neck, pulling him close. His lips met mine, sweetly. Our lips moved slowly, both of us smiling. I pulled away and gently pushed him forward with my right hand.
"You're gonna make me burn the pancakes," I said, slipping off the counter and going to the pan. I took the spatulas and moved the pancake to the plate with the rest of them. "Breakfast," I said, smiling.
"I'll go wake Jack," Aaron said before walking down the hall. I turned me grabbed three plates, setting them down on the table with the orange juice glasses. As I turned to grab the stack of pancakes, Jack came running in.
"Kitty!" He yelled, slamming into me and wrapping his arms around my legs. I laughed and patted his back as he squeezed me.
"Can't get rid of me that easy, even if you spend the whole night teaching me about every single dinosaur there ever was," I said, placing the stack down. He turned and climbed into the chair.
"Chocolate chip pancakes!" Jack sang, holding a fork in his hand. I giggled at his little song as Aaron walked in and sat down.
I heard my phone ping from across the room and excused myself before going to find it.
Stephen: She said, 'Eeeeeek!'
I smiled at my phone before placing it back in my bag. I walked over to the table and sat down.
"Thanks, kitty!" Jack said before shoving a fork full of pancakes in his mouth.
"You're welcome," I said smiling, as I grabbed a pancake.
