Chapter 4

Hunger.

" I gave you what you wanted. You wanted to get rid of that sickness, right? You have dreams of living a life worth living to do whatever you want, when you want, right? I handed that to you, you have no more worries of letting your life be in the hands of some corrupt doctor. I set you free " , he explained. Hearing him speak pissed me the fuck off but he did give me what I wanted. I told him yes because that is truly what I wanted. I wanted it gone, away and out of my life and I did say I'd do anything to make sure that happened. I did have moments where I wanted to die but I see people my age living their lives to the fullest and doing things that I want to experience for myself. " How the fuck am I going to live like this? What the fuck do- " , he stopped feeling my eyes swell up. " As I said before.... " , he said pausing and stepping closer to me. Close enough for me to feel his breath on my face. " Listen to what I tell you and do as I say. You follow that and you should be fine " , he finished.

I threw my head back and sighed giving up on the situation for the movement. It was nothing I can do and I know I'm not going to be able to live this life without Adonis. Without him, I'd be walking into this life blindly. I needed him more than anything at this very moment. I nodded my head at him whispering an ' okay ' loud enough for him to hear me. He clapped his hands together and smiled at me. " Alright, now that you are in board.. it's best we get up out of here " , he says. I began to walk up to the door but he stopped me. " Wait, there's something we should do first before we go ", he said throwing me into a ball of confusion. " Stay right here " , he said sternly. He walks out the room and leaves me with my own thoughts. I just can't believe I am a fucking vampire. I have to be careful with my damn words from now on if I'm going to be dealing with this guy. It took what I said and ran full speed with it. He didn't hesitate not one time after I said yes. Yo, what the fuck have a gotten myself into? What the hell am I going to tell my parents? My doctor? Nurse Jenny? I can't just disappear. They'll be suspicious on what the fuck is going on with me. I need to come with a plan to let them know I longer need my treatment but how? I'll need Adonis' help on this. He seems that he's been doing this vamp shit for a while now. I'm sure he can fine some way to help me with all this. My thoughts were stalled when the door flew open and in came Adonis with some guy. I scrunched my face up in confusion wondering who was this guy and why was he with him. This guy was yeh high, bulky and had a funny shaped head. He had a buzz cut and a few tattoos that I could see that were visible and he appeared to be Hispanic. The guy smiled at me while Adonis locked the door behind him. I shifted my gaze between the two still confused in what the fuck was happening. Adonis turned towards us licking his lips and placed that infamous smirk on his face. " What the fuck is this? " , I finally asked tired of the bullshit. " This is Bryan. He came to join our little party ... " , Adonis said giving me a look. I was still confused on what was going on and party? I thought we were about leave. " I know you said you had a friend but you didn't say he looked like this " , the Bryan guy said basically drooling at me.

He began to approach me slowly and while he did, I notice Adonis slowly creeping up behind him but his eyes stayed on me. " That he is... " , Adonis said surely still making his way behind Bryan. I cut my eyes from Adonis when I noticed how close Bryan was to my face. " So what's your name baby? " , Bryan asked seductively. " Oh you don't have to worry about that " , Adonis says before bringing his arm quickly across Bryan's neck and planting a small yet deep slit. As Bryan begins to cough up and blood travel up his throat, I felt my urge to drain him grow stronger. The feeling of my teeth sharpened happened fast and before I knew it, my mouth was wrapped around his neck. I sucked and sucked until I felt Adonis pulling me off of Bryan. I turned to him and pushed him off of me. " What are you doing?! I wasn't done! " , I shouted about to finish drinking Bryan's blood. " Drink another drop of his blood and trust, you will be " , Adonis simply said. I stopped and looked at him squinting my eyes. " You can't drink them til they die, unless you want to die yourself " , he explained. " Why? Why is that? " , I asked. Adonis shrugged his shoulders. " That's just how it is. So don't do it.. " , he said stepping over Bryan's body. He went to a chair and grabbed a towel sitting on it and threw it at me. " Clean yourself up, we leave soon. The club is closing in a few minutes and we don't need anyone knowing we were here " , Adonis says. I quickly wipe my mouth and any spec of blood that's possibly on my face and take a look at my clothes. I did have a few drops of blood on there but nothing anyone would be suspicious about. While I did that, Adonis made adjustments around the room like moving Bryan's body in a corner of the room. " W-what about the blood on the floor? " , I ask pointing at it. " Leave it, doesn't matter " , Adonis says shrugging his shoulders. " Let's go " , Adonis flicked the light switch down and opened the door with me trailing closely behind him. When we walked into the hallway, there was not as much people that were out when first came up here which is a good thing. You could tell the club would be closing soon because we could we see people leaving out the from door. Following behind Adonis, he took us to a back door and they lead us outside to some stairs. When we got outside, I couldn't help but feel my sense heighten. I could hear things much more clearly as if I had not a drop of wax in them and my eyes felt like glass. The sight was pure. I wanted to look at every detail that laid in front of me taking my time getting use to this new feeling. Even though it had only been a few minutes, I loved every bit of it. I took a deep breath and felt like a band new man. I haven't felt this good in such a long time and I know I was going to be unstoppable. " Hey! " , Adonis' voice came flowing through my ears bringing me back. I looked and he had made it to the bottom of the stairs. He waved his hand directing me to come on so we could officially leave.

I jogged down them quickly and stood at the bottom of them looking around then a thought came. " Wait, my car.. " , I took my keys out my pocket and dangled em. " You got a ride? " , I asked. " I actually decided to walk. Needed a meal on the way here " , he said staring into my eyes. I cut my eyes from his gaze and pointed to where my car was. " Cmon it's this way " , I stepped in front of him noticing in the corner of my eyes that he never took his eyes off of me. Walking ahead of him, I could feel his eyes burning at my back so I decided to pick up the pace and jog a bit to the car. Once we got to it, I unlocked the doors and we both hopped in. Slamming the doors, we both were quiet as I began to start the car. Before push the start button, I got curious. " Wait I still can drive right? " , Adonis looked up at me like I had just irritated the shit out of him. " That-that was stupid. Don't worry about it... " , I push the start button and the engine roared. " Uh, where are we going? " , I asked looking at the people crossing the street from leaving the club. " Your place. We need to pack " , he says. I turn to look at him confused yet again. " I'm sorry, we going somewhere? " , I asked. " You are, yes. You're moving in with me. "
