Chapter 11

Travel.

After visiting my parents, me and Adonis went back to our home. It was dark outside and the moon was the brightest I had ever seen. Seeing them made me feel so much better in making the decision on turning. I can live longer to be in their lives and I don't have to worry about a sickness taking me from them. I know my life has meant so much to them and knowing that I now have no worried on being sick anymore, I can live this life to the fullest. Since I'm still learning the route to my new home with Adonis, he decided to drive. If it wasn't so secluded from civilization, I know I could have the directions memorized. While on our way there, Adonis talked to me about how nice my parents were and how they were sweet. As I thanked him, I begin to wonder about if his parents were still in his life so I asked him. When the words flew out of my mouth, I could see his jaw tick as if it triggered him so I dismissed the conversation. The car ride was silent the rest of the way home though my mind circled with a ton of questions. Who was Adonis really? Where was he from? Who was his maker? How long he had been made into vampirism? If I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with this man, I feel as though I have every right to know about him but I guess I'll just wait until he's completely comfortable enough to tell me. Honestly, I don't know what the fuck the big deal is. Just tell me now and get it over with but whatever. Before we got closer to the location of our home, I had an urge for sex and warm blood. It's like Adonis read my mind because he turned a different direction than he was meant to, to get us home. " We're going to stop by this bar. See if we can find some individuals to take back home " , he says still looking ahead. " You can't read my mind, can't you? " , I chuckled. " No, I actually can't since I made you. Why do you ask? " , he looks at me quickly but places his eyes back on the road. " Cause I was just thinking about how I could really have sex right now. A meal wouldn't hurt either " , I say with a smirk. " Well since you got your peace done with your parents and I handled everything with your doctors, how about we make this night celebratory? " , Adonis says with a sneaky tone in his voice. " I like the sound of that actually " , I reply.

We pulled up to a formal bar/small club and immediately took in that a lot of people were inside. Being that it was a Friday night, it made plenty of sense. We both got out the car quickly and I must say I was excited to see how I was have under me sinking my teeth in tonight. As we walked in, the bar was filled with smoke and the smell of alcohol. Some people were siting at small tables eating and conversing, while others stood either dancing, talking or simply just scoping the scene. Adonis and I stood at the door looking around at everyone sniffing who would be our prey for the night. As I'm looking around, Adonis closed in next to my left ear. " It might be best if we split up. We'll meet back here " , I nod my head at his idea and he glides over to the other side of the bar catching the eyes of some women, I turned my attention back to the bar and head that way. I could feel eyes burning on me but I didn't dare to look around. I didn't mind anyone looking at me now because I know they're not looking at me like they use to. When I was sick, people would stare at me because I looked gravely ill. Times were I could barely walk or when I would stumble over, the stares was my nightmare and that's one of the reasons why I would prefer to stay at home but now, I know they stare because I look fucking amazing. The eye hump me, drool over me and I love every fucking minute of it. When I got to the bar, I lifted my hand up to the bartender catching his attention. He scurried over to me with a smile. " What can I get for you, man? " , he asks. " A shot of Don " , I quickly say. The bartender nods his head as a response and gets a glass preparing my drink. As he does that, I pull out my money and place it on the counter for him to get when he finishes. While he was working, I decided to eye around and look to see who was coming home with me tonight. I immediately caught the attention to two girls who appeared to be twins. One was small than the other but they looked too similar to not be sisters. " Here you go, my man " , the bartender says grabbing my attention. I thanked him sliding the $100 bill towards him bidding he kept the change. I turned my eyes back to the two girls so I didn't see his reaction to keeping the change. They both were engaged in conversation so I downed my drink and headed straight towards them not wasting time. As I approached them, other women did what they thought to catch my attention but I've never had twins at the same time in my life so that was my goal for tonight. Adonis might have to sleep in the dark room tonight for all the noise I'm making. Approaching them, I cleared my throat and they both turned to me. " Excuse me, I don't mean to butt in you guys conversation but I just wanted to be the one to tell you how beautiful you both are " , I say respectfully but my inner thoughts were as sly as a fox. " Oh thank you so much " , the smaller one says with a bright smile. Her teeth were aligned so perfectly but you could tell they were hers. They had to be veneers. I turned my attention to the other one and she smiled up at me as well. This one had dimples and she was cute as well. " Are you guys sisters? " , I ask. " We are actually twins " , the thicker one says. So I was right. " That doesn't surprise me. You looks is similar " , I say with a fake chuckle and they laugh along with me. " I'm sorry. Where are my manners? I'm Ezekiel " , I introduce myself and hold my hand to the thicker one to shake first. " I'm Brittany, and this is Bethany " , she says pointing to her sister. " Well it is lovely to meet you both. So look, I do have to go but here's the thing... I'm having a small get together at my house tonight. That's actually where me and my friend are heading now. I'd love for you girls to come. We can get to know each other better " , I say shifting into the eyes of both girls. Trying to earn the trust of both of them. " Uhh... " , Brittany stammers as she looks over at Bethany. I noticed Bethany shook her head yes just enough for only Brittany to see. " Uh, yeah. Why not? It's a bit boring here tonight anyways. You have booze? " , she asks. " More than enough for everybody " , I say with a smirk. " Did you guys drive? " , I ask so I know if Adonis and I need to dispose of it tomorrow. " No, we actually Uber out when we go out in case the drinks start flowing " , Bethany says with a giggle. " Okay, I like that. We need yall safe but yall can just ride with me and my roommate " , I say. The girls leave a tip on the table their on and grab their purses following behind me. I already see Adonis waiting by the door for me and he immediately walks out with us following behind him. Once we get to the car we get in and prepare to pull off. " Ladies, this is my roommate Adonis. Adonis, this is Brittany and Bethany. Their twins ... " , I introduce everyone. " Lovely to meet you ladies. I hope you're ready to have some fun tonight " , Adonis says with his smirk. " I know I am " , I reply. Adonis quickly pulls off and heads to the house. The girls were in back giggling and singing music. They even were sticking their head outside the windows flowing with the wind and I can't lie, I was enjoying every bit of this car ride. I know the moment we get to the house, it's going down and my mouth is watering for it.
