Chapter 8 An Awful Truth

Jordan, Lynn, Casper Terran, Sid etc. flew the pod back to earth but they failed to save Hunter from the Empire. They run to their homes during sunrise before their parents woke up, Casper threw powder that brought him back to his room, Terran flew down the chimney, Sid normally walks to the door and knocked, Alina opened the door then she sees then hugs Sid, Lynn smiles warmly as she sees her cousin with such happiness Jordan on the other hand walked away without a word. Lynn turned to him in confusion she asked him "You good?" Jordan didn't respond to her as his flow of aura surrounded him and vanished. Lynn had nothing else to do but to walk to her home. Upon arriving at home, he found his mother giving him a furious look on her face, she is unhappy to learn her son's recklessness "Are you out of your mind!" Carla shouted "I took my sight off of you just one time and then you disappeared! Worse, you brought your friends with you on some dangerous conquest! Jordan, you could've gotten yourself and your friends killed!"

"Mom"

"Do you realize what you have done is terrible?! Do you?!"

Jordan made no excuse talking to his mother, taking full responsibility for his choice he apologized "I'm sorry."

"Oh, I know you are." Carla said "I'm glad no one got hurt, not even you. Go to your room we'll talk more about this later."

Jordan walked to his room and reads the book he was given by Carla yesterday and soon notices a writing that says "The boy must fulfill the prophecy" he got confused for just a little while, so he walks to Carla's door room and decided to knock it when he closed his fist but later, he chose not to and walks to his room waiting until it's the right time for him. Suddenly he heard the door open, he opens the door slowly and saw his mother walking downstairs to the basement he took a few steps on the stairs without making any sounds, he saw the lights on and slowly walks he knows that something seems suspicious he took deep breaths and took one step to the basement he stalked her like a shadow then stops when he see Carla took a book and puts it on an empty book shelf near a metallic door then it opens Carla walks inside a dark room and the door shuts. Jordan got curious about the room behind the door and tries to open the door but there was no doorknob on the right he sees a passcode he asked himself "I wonder what it was?" then a little crumpled paper that fell onto his head gave him the answer, he read it while typing the password "5612" the door opened immediately. He exhaled as he walks into the dark room and the door automatically shuts. In the mothership Ven puts on his mask and turns right to Hunter who was locked up on a room with zero gravity. Galaxia entered the room to Apologize to Hunter, but he looked away slowly. Galaxia realized that she was the enemy and walked away from her. She went inside the throne room and replied "I hate to break it to you but.... uh" she tried to continue but she's scared of what might happen until "You can go" Ven allowed her to quit Galaxia got confused "Take Hunter with you" here quested. Galaxia gets confuse and asks him "Why are you letting us go?" Ven sighs and he explains "I thought that I brought peace to the whole galaxy, but it turns out it didn't apply to everyone" Galaxia interrupted him since she knows who he meant "You mean your friends" "Yeah" he said gently Galaxia bows to him and said joyfully "Thank you master!" she soon walks from the throne room to Hunter. Ven stands up and looks at the window, wondering how to apologize to his friends until commander HexaCrom entered the throne room with Fuyu hand cuffed Ven inhaled and he asked him "Please let her go" HexaCrom released her and took the hand cuffs with him Fuyu looks at Ven and she ordered him "Take your mask off" Ven questioningly replied "Why should I" "To see my son I want to talk to him" Instead of taking his mask off Ven held on to it and crushed it to pieces. Jordan looks at a hologram that Carla is talking to" Jordan is our son you can't do this to him!" Carla yelled the hologram of a person yelled "I can't come to him yet I just thought it's best to stay like this" Carla's heartbroken and she yelled right back at his face "You know what Hoku? Fine if you keep talking about our son then I'm not letting you see my children again!" Carla turned the hologram off and decided to walk back but when she saw Jordan, she was shocked "Is it true? Is dad alive?" Carla couldn't do anything but to tell him the truth she said "I guess you're old enough to know that..."Carla took one deep breath and she continued "Ashura knew that your father is alive and lied to you about it" Jordan doubted that it's true but he learned that from Carla "When you are just a boy Ashura told tales about your father, he wanted you to know what it feels like to have a dad who is loving, heroic and-" "Ashura lied?" Carla couldn't say anything else because he already knew since he snuck in the basement and saw her talking to Hoku. Because Jordan is clouded by rage, he lost control of his powers when his Aura flows faster, he yelled in anger "So he faked his death just to avoid us!?" The ground shakes even harder than the impact of an asteroid landscapes crack everywhere all damages increased. Ven and Fuyu forgave each other as they hug, but something bothered him, so he closed his eyes and he saw in a distance that all buildings crash islands were torn to pieces and people screaming for help. As soon as he opened his eyes "I must stop him, or earth will crumble" Ven went off by himself in lightspeed and prevented the disaster on his own, but it didn't stop there Jordan's powers are still out of control. His friends felt the ground stop shaking while they use their powers to prevent such crashes. Zain and Jay saved the victims from accidents while Apollo ran to his house recklessly. Lucinda puts her hand on the ground and mumbles Saturn holds her shoulder and replied "Lucinda this isn't the time to sit there help us" Lynn woke up from her bed and rushed outof room grabbed Fredrick's hand and pulled him outside the house. She went after her father next in the house and pulled his hand thus taking him outside, however the broken pieces of wood blocked the front door Chris grabbed Lynn and went to the back, but it's blocked as well. They have nowhere else to go the ceiling cracks and starts falling at Chris's head luckily Lynn protected him with a transparent shield. Apollo ran down the basement and saw Jordan's yelling. He couldn't control his powers until Apollo hugged him slowly. Lucinda's eyes lighten up and the disasters stopped. Saturn now noticed what Lucinda did, so she reversed the effects in time, and everything went back to normal. Jordan remains calm by the second and his aura disappears. One night Jordan decided to leave as he realize the damage, he nearly caused. Apollo grabs him by the hood and told him "I will go with you as well" so they told their mother that they will go only because Ven told him that he would help his brother train. Apollo and Jordan walked into the forest while Carla and Emily watched then something went on the girl's mind. She burst to with a decision, and she said "Can we go with them mom" Carla closes her eyes and decided not to go and replied "It's not my journey to go" Emily's smile became a frown and she left on her own she turned back and learned from herself that she didn't want to leave her own Mother. Carla just smiles and said with "You can go" Jordan stopped walking and looked back as well, he didn't want to leave the same way he did last time "hey mom" Jordan soon made a promise "I promise I'll come back soon" Jordan later sees his sister lost and confused, he walks straight towards her, then he bends his knees and speaks to his sister "Emily if you want to stay, you can" Emily smiles as she turned back to stay with her mom Jordan smiles and he follows his brother all the way to the portal he made. Just before walk to it he heard his sister one last time "Take Care!"
