One | Barcelona

The warm air of Barcelona hits me, I finally made it, there isn't much difference between Barcelona and Granada so it's not really shocking

I flew from Granada to Barcelona because I got a job offer as a entertainment host for Fc barcelona, im actually supposed to meet Bianca, shes the one who made this opportunity happen

as soon as i got off the plane I rushed to get my bags, when I got all of my bags I headed to the exit to go find Bianca

"Val over here!" I heard a female voice call for me, I looked around and spotted someone waving at me, that someone was none other than Bianca, she hugged me tightly before helping me load my luggage's into the trunk of her car, when I got into the car she asked me how the flight was and how I've been

Bianca has been a close friend for a while, she went to school with me back in Granada before she moved here to also work for FCB, I was so happy when she told me there was a open spot for Barcelona, not only would I be working for a professional football club, I'd be working with my childhood friend

Bianca started up the car and we were off, I'd be staying with her until I was financially stable enough to get my own place, hopefully it won't take long because I feel bad, anyway, we got to her house, it was a one story house but it was really, as in really big, she helped me with my bags and lead me to my room, the room I'd be staying in had a gorgeous view of Barcelona, it was magical, it even had its own bathroom and closet, I knew she made bank but I didn't know she made this much bank, jeez girl

She left me in my room to get settled, I changed out of my clothes and changed into something more summery as Barcelona was warmer than Granada, I went to the living room to meet back up with Bianca who was on her phone, she sat up and said " okay, today we'll go to the stadium to get your paperwork all signed then I'll give you a little tour of your work place, how's that sound?" "Sounds great" I said as I nodded, we headed to her car and she started driving, as she was driving my eyes were glued to the breath taking views of Barcelona, shortly we made it to the stadium, I was shocked to be standing right in front of it, I've always seen videos on Instagram and Tik tok of it but never in  my life would I expect myself in the flesh, to be standing in front of it,

We headed inside to one of the buildings where two men were waiting in what seemed like a meeting room, we entered the room where we were politely greeted by Barça president Joan Laporta and head coach Hansi Flick, I shook both of their hands as we exchanged smiles, then Mr Laporta spoke, " we are delighted to have you Ms Martinez here,  right in front of us we have the contract and paperwork's you have to sign in order to be an official staff member of barça, we can begin whenever your ready" I nodded as I replied saying I was ready to begin, not going to lie I had to sign a shit ton of paper but in the end it was all worth it

After about 10 ish minutes I was done signing the paper which meant I was an official staff member of Barça, I felt so happy, I thanked Mr Laporta and Flick as Bianca and I exited the rooms

Bianca gave me a high-five as she said "you did it! Congratulations"
I smiled back and said "thank you"

"Now I'll show you to your office then I'll show you to the pitch, where the first team is currently training" she said as I swallowed aggressively, I wasn't expecting to meet any players today, hopefully I don't screw up

I followed her to another floor where it seemed to be all offices, she brought me to an empty one which I was guessing was mine, and I was correct, I opened the door and it was just an empty but spacious room with glass windows a desk and a small couch, Bianca told me that her office was just next door so that was perfect

We headed back down and towards the pitch, the outdoor training area was nice and open, we walked onto the pitch as Bianca made a announcement,
"Everyone, today I have a special addition to our family, Ms Valeria Martinez, she'll be working with us from now on as on of our entertainment hosts, you'll see her around taking pictures and videos for the Barça YouTube channel" after she announced the pitch filled with applauds, everyone went back to training but one of the players approached, he held out his hand as he introduced himself
"Nice to meet you Ms Martinez, I'm Gavi, Pablo Gavi" I shook his hand as I replied "Nice too meet you too Gavi, but please call me Val instead, Ms Martinez is way to fancy" I said as I smiled, he nodded and went back to training as one of the coaches was about to yell at him
