Pedri POV
I woke up pretty early to make last minute preparations for the families
It was currently 12:50 meaning Val's family would be landing anytime soon
João was already on the way to the airport to pick them up
My family would also be landing soon, coincidentally, their flight would be landing at 1:00 as well
All we had to do was to wait for them to arrive
Val was up in her room getting ready, she kept telling me that she was so nervous, little did she know that I was hella nervous too
When the families arrive our plan was to just hang out and get to know each other then when we eat dinner around 4 then after dinner we can have the usual "talk" to get to know the significant other and their family

Before João left I told him to wait for my text to bring them in, I planned that my family would come in first and get to mingle with Val in the backyard or something then when I text João that would be a go signal, I would let them in and surprise her with them

30 minutes passed and my family just pulled up
"Pedriii! Mi hermano!" Fer exclaimed as he gave me a hug before entering the house
I hugged my parents as well and they saw Val and hugged her too
"You must be the famous Valeria!" My mom said as she hugged Val again
"Pedrito here has been talking nonstop about you!" My dad added as Val had a wide smile on her face before shifting her gaze towards me
"Awe that's so sweet!" Val spoke
I took their bags and placed them by the stairs, then we headed out to the backyard and sat next to the pool
They chatted to get used to each other then João said they have arrived
"I'll be back" I excused myself
I opened the door and saw her mom and her dad, I thought that would be it, but a younger boy hopped out the car
"Hola Pedri! It's so nice to finally meet you!" Her mom exclaimed
I gave her parents a hug and the little kid too, whom I didn't know who it was yet
"Thank you for coming, Mr and Mrs Martinez, Val is inside talking to my family, but she's facing the other way so she won't see you when you come in"
"Oh that's perfect! Is it okay if Sebby runs up to her from behind to surprise her" Val's dad asked as he pointed at the little boy whose name I now know
"Yeah sure, go ahead" I said as I pointed at the door to enter
We all entered as well as João, then the little kid ran up to her from behind
"Boo" he said making Val flinch
"Oh my god! Sebby! what are you doing he-"
"AHH MAMA AND PAPA YOU'RE HERE?"
She yelled as she ran up and hugged her family
My family, João Bianca Gavi and I were all in awe as we saw Val finally reunite with her family after moving to Barcelona
"How did you get here?" She asked them
"Oh Pedri booked our flight" her dad answered
"What? Really? Pedri I have to pay you back" she spoke
"No hermosa, it's your family, I'm not going to make you pay to reunite with them" I said as I gave her a hug
"Fine" she said
"Oh I forgot to introduce you!"
"Mama, papa, this is Pedri, my boyfriend"
"Pedri these are my parents, Elena and Vitor"
She introduced me as I shook their hands
"Oh and this little sucker is Sebastian, my little brother, but we call him Sebby or Seba"
"Sebby say hi to Pedri"
She said as her little brother waved at me
I did the same by introducing Val to my parents and our parents introduced themselves to each other

Val POV
I can't believe Pedri surprised me with my family
I thought we'd have to wait a long time until he met them but apparently they've already been talking
Our families were getting pretty comfortable with each other
My dad was talking with Fernando, my mom was talking with Rosy and Sebby was playing soccer in our field with Fer
Seeing this made me almost want to cry, they were all having fun with each other, and it all happened so quickly
We all decided to start cooking, to make it quick, all five of us helped one another so that it would be done faster
While we were cooking, Pedri's mom came in the kitchen
"Can I help you kids?" She asked
"We're okay Mrs Gonzalez, we're almost done anyway, but thank you! Just go have fun outside with the rest of them, don't worry about us!" Bianca answered
After like 10 minutes, we were finally done cooking, tonight we'll be having classic paella, patatas bravas and Pedri's parents brought his favourite,croquettes
It wasn't a lot but it was enough to feed all of us
"Dinners ready!" Pedri shouted so that the people outside could here
We all sat at the dinning table, Pedri's dad and my dad at the ends of the table, our moms beside them then Gavi João and Bianca were sitting next to my mom on one side of the table
While I was sitting next to my dad with Sebby beside me and Pedri on his other side and last but not least, Fer who was sitting next to his dad
We all had a splendid meal together with a few questions in between
But other than that we all had an amazing time
After everyone was done, Bianca and I loaded all the dishes in the dishwasher, while João and Gavi cleaned the table
After all was settled, João Gavi and Bianca headed down to the game room, leaving Pedri and I and both our families alone for the "talk"
