Did I make the right choice

Mother knows

It's been about a year since the death of lord Garmadom and since then Lloyd has been training his powers in secrecy from June. Also Harumi trains in fighting and swords.

But maybe June knows more then she lets on.

It was Saturday evening and June is sitting in the living room waiting for Harumi and Lloyd to return from their trip to town.

"Where are they?" Says June out loud to herself.

Just then the door opens and June runs over standing there with her arms crossed like a disappointed mother.

The two kids then freeze in their spot when they noticed June.

"Hello Miss. June/Mom" says the two at the same time.

"Where were you? Do you realize how late it is, something bad could have happened to you."

June then gave the kids a good look up and down, then she says "what happened to you two?" June says now concerned, even though she already has an idea in her head.

"Ummm we fell at the playground🤷‍♀️" say Harumi

"Ya no I am not going to believe that bullshit lie" June says while crossing her arms again.

"Now tell me the truth or there will be consequences"

"Uhh" says Lloyd as he looks all over the place except June eyes.

"Fine if you're not going to tell me then go to the living room so I can fix you up."

"Ok" says the two as they head to the living room.

"Do you think June has figured out?" says Harumi

"I don't think so. I feel like we have done a pretty good job at keeping this secret." explains Lloyd

Once in the living room the two sit down and put the TV on to the news.

"I wish the ninja would just die already especially Kai" says Lloyd seeing the news talk about the ninja again.

June then walks into the room while Lloyd says that she says "well if you want him dead so badly then why don't you put together a team to stop them?"

The two kids look to June who is holding the med kit.

"Why are you suggesting this. I thought you didn't like violence?"

"Well this is different son, they hurt you." says June as she grabs Lloyd's face.

Harumi then says "I am guessing from your comment that you already know?"

"Yes I do dear"

"But how long have you known Mom?" questions Lloyd

"Since the beginning, but I was waiting until you were ready to tell me. Also I know you were training, cause I found Harumis sword last week."

"I am sorry for not telling you sooner, I just want to keep you safe so you don't end up like dad." says Lloyd as he looks down disappointed in himself.

"Hey sweetie look at me" she makes Lloyd look at her and then continues to speak "I know you want to protect me, but my job is to also protect you. Plus you don't know everything about me, there is more than meets the eye you know." June says as she winks at Lloyd.

"So does this mean that you're not mad at us?"

"Ohh no no I am still very upset with you, but it's that you didn't tell your dear mother sooner. Plus ever since I figured out your little secret I wanted to help train you two."

The two kids then look at each other in surprise "would you really train us?" asks Harumi.

"Yes dear. Now why don't we get you two fixed up, then make some supper and then head to bed."

"Ok"

The three then do their nightly routine and then head for bed.
