Lloyd drags his way out of the volcano. He gets pretty far before he passes out, not before thinking 'I am going to fucking kill you Kai and all you pesky ninja' Lloyd then finally passes out from pain.
When Lloyd wakes up he sees a bright blinding light. Once Lloyd get use to the light he groans awake.
Once he was awake enough he heard a women say "Oh my your awake"
Lloyd looks over to the see a women who looks to be in her late twenty's. "Who are you miss"
"My name is June and what is your name young man"
"My name is Lloyd, but where am I and how long have I been asleep."
"Oh my dear Lloyd. You have been asleep for a week. I found you about 200ft from a volcano. May I ask why you near that volcano."
Lloyd thought back to that fateful day. He didn't realize until June said something that he was making a face of anger.
"Lloyd- June grabbed Lloyd hand before continuing- does this bring back bad memory's, because if it does you don't have to tell me"
"I think I should tell you June, you did help me."
"Even though I did help you. You don't have to tell me."
"No its fine June I would like to tell you." June gives Lloyd a kind smile encouraging him to continue. Lloyd tells June his life story up until kai left Lloyd in the volcano.
"Kai just left me there all because he wanted to prove he was the fucking best and he thought that the blade was more important then my own life."
June then grabs Lloyd into a hug crying and says "Oh Lloyd you poor boy, you did not deserve that. No kid should go through that."
Lloyd was shocked that someone cared for him. His Dad kind of cared, but would rather kill the ninja, so the only other person that he had was Nya, but she thinks he's dead now.
"Miss June why do you care about me so much even after you know who my father is."
"Because you are not your father Lloyd" June gave Lloyd a bright smile.
June then looked down said and Lloyd said "What's wrong miss June"
"I don't know if you notice, but you got hurt really bad from the incident."
With a scared face Lloyd asks "What kind of injury's"
June slowly pulls back Lloyds blanket as she says "I am sorry I couldn't save it, but you lost a part of your leg. Plus your left arm got burned really badly to the point where it will be really hard to move it around. You also suffered from multiple different burns over your body" June then pulls out a hand mirror so Lloyd could look at his face.
Lloyd starts crying and June grabs Lloyd into a hug while petting Lloyds hair while saying encouraging words "don't worry dear I will help you get better."
After a couple more minutes of hugging they let go and June says "Now Lloyd why don't you stay with me for awhile."
Lloyd looks June in the eyes and says "Miss June is it ok if I call you mom" Lloyd then looks down embarrassed.
Smiling June says "I would love to be your mother dear"
June then grabs the blanket and says "Now Lloyd please lay down, so you can relax so you can start to feel better."
"Ok mom" Lloyd lays down and June then pulls the blanket up tucking Lloyd in and gives him a kiss on the head while saying "Goodnight dear and have a wonderful sleep."
"Night mom"
June leave's the room as Lloyd falls asleep and closes the door slowly. Once she close's the door she starts crying while saying to herself "oh that poor boy he did not deserve this. I promise I will protect him the best I can."
June then heads to bed for the night.
