Eat The Rich

Your eyes crystalize
As you stare into the snowy distance
Distance
As man distances himself from his relatives
And all around him
Screaming into each other’s ears
As he plugs his own
As he implores to have an open mind
But shudders at the sight
Of those different from his own
As those that aren’t his own
Shatter beneath his harsh shoe
That of gold and other riches
Shall be given to the highest bidder
But the highest bidder had been his friend
And had nothing to bid
They build their circle
Around their riches and their shrine of power
Broadcasting their luck and deception
For the world to see
As he tapes the mouths of the poor
And all around thee
He shows just how cruel
The rich can truely be
Hating all those that don’t
Look or love like him
So his friends can rise
And we can fall
And yet you still wonder-
Why we should
