I bet you feel it now, baby
Especially since we've only known each other one day
But, I've gotta work shit outShe pecked a kiss on my lips and hurried away. It was clear to me that she was overwhelmed by everything that had just happened. I could sense that she wasn't the Tisha I knew anymore. She had truly changed, and the reasons behind it were a mystery to me.
I rode my bike home, resisting the urge to follow her to her flat. I didn't want to startle her with anything. Cute actions aside, nothing would deter me from my intentions.
After entering my home, I settled into my familiar spot in front of my PC, preparing to stream for my Twitch channel. Despite enjoying a level of popularity, I deliberately maintained my anonymity. For me, avoiding the spotlight was a conscious choice; what mattered most was enjoying my weekend routine, which had remained unchanged for the past two years. During this time, I successfully built a sustainable income stream that allowed me to be financially independent, regardless of my family's considerable wealth in America. This setup not only provided me with financial security but also allowed me to pursue my passion without external pressures.
As I settled in for today's stream, I couldn't shake off thoughts of Tisha. The match held a lot at stake—I couldn't afford to lose the $25,000, and my opponent seemed like a seasoned pro. Despite trying to focus on my next move, Tisha's presence kept distracting me. All I could think about was how I'd control my feelings the next time I saw her. Balancing the game's demands with these swirling emotions was challenging, to say the least.
The competition was neck to neck between us, and I pushed all distractions aside. The next move would determine the winner, deciding if those $25,000 would be mine. With everything on the line, I knew I had to focus completely to outplay my opponent.
I reloaded my gun and crouched behind a tree, trying to stay hidden. I scanned the gameplay environment, searching for my opponent. After making a 360-degree turn, I spotted him crawling under some nearby bushes. I quickly moved to a better position, aimed carefully, and took the perfect shot winning the challenge. I switched off my PC with a grin as a hefty amount was deposited into my bank account. Honestly, even if I had lost the $25,000, it wouldn't have made much of a difference. I thought this as I gulped down a can of Mountain Dew.
