Authors POV:
It told Aaron to run. Run far and wide and as fast as you can. And that is what he did. He ran as fast as his legs could carry him, or should I say 'how far his blindness would get him.' Not long before he ran into a tree and fell flat on his back to which crushed the twigs underneath him, he stared up for a moment and something had leaned over him. Gargling and snarling and everything in between to which it sounded like it had come from a horror movie. All in all Aaron was facing death.

Something in him switched. He twitched he turned but he couldn't go into his ultima persona. The more he struggled and scrunched his face the more the monster was crawling up to him laughing at him in defeat. He closed his eyes, in hopes of someone coming to help him, or something that would give him the strength that would fight this 'beast.'

Melissa's POV:
I woke up to the sound of waves crashing on the shoreline, today felt as if no other. Dull and uninteresting. Like the other days behind this one, as everyone is trying to survive another day. My eyes fluttered open for a moment and the sun was unusually bright for a day like today. I jerked my head slightly and I noticed Aaron was gone. Maybe he left to go to the bathroom, finding food or the bathroom? Mum and dad were still sleeping. They were both ever so sound. Well it was the crack of dawn but it's surprising how bright it is. Brighter than anything I've seen before. I took a few steps outside the house to get a breath of fresh air, but the moment I took a step onto the sand and the energy immediately shifted.

Something had changed and it wasn't the good kind. My ears and tail appeared to determine what exactly I was feeling. The more i listened the more I felt uneasy. Something about this energy shift didn't feel right. My ears were twitching in every which way and my tail immediately intertwined with my back leg as if I were scared. And I was indeed scared. Something about the air needed to change. It has to change. I took a few more steps and jerked my head side to side in hopes Aaron would be there...but he wasn't. Where ever Aaron is I hope he's ok. I want to go out and look for him but I'm not strong enough to even face what is out there. I'll just have to wait until l and dad wake up. And I'll just have to pray that Aaron will be ok.

Aaron's POV*
No matter how hard I tried my ultima persona wouldn't appear. This beast was taunting me and it obviously knew I couldn't defend myself. The one thing I wish I had was to have my eyes back. I wish I was able to see again. I wish I was able to see what I was missing, what I could grasp at and what I could see its beauty for. That's what I missed the most. I pulled myself up and I found myself leaning up against a tree. I guess this was my last stand between life and death. I could hear the creature coming closer and I knew that it was coming to claim it's prize and that It was choosing a way on how it would devour me. "Aaron, come back to me.." The creature spoke as it was taunting me. I found myself in deep dark despair when I realised, who was the person that said that to me? Wait was it Shu? It has to be, I've been waiting so long to meet her again I've been dreaming about it ever since.

Then something came over me, a new wave of anger I had never felt before. It was coursing through my veins, gurgling and bubbling through every part of my body. I wasn't just angry I was beyond furious. Did this creature have Shu? If so where was this thing hiding her? Where is she? I had to know at all costs where she was. I just had to. I grabbed onto the branches around me to pull myself up. The creature walked on further and I could now feel its breath on my face and neck. It had sent shivers up and down my spine but I pushed that feeling aside. "Come back to me.." now I had heard Shu's voice the second time but it was coming from all around me. Was there more than one creature? How many were there? Or was this creature playing tricks with me? The second time I heard her voice, it sounded like she was in distress. It sounded like she needed help, my help. And that's when I decided enough was enough. I bundled my hand up into a fist, stretching out my knuckles and whacked the creature on the side of its face.

The creature stumbled back, and I took that opportunity to run. I ran as fast as I could and as far as I could go. Knowing I was able bodied, I was limited but I knew that I'd be able to use my other senses.

*Time Jump (30 Mins later)*

After running for what felt like forever, I had to come to a stop. My legs were about to give way before I heard the sound of footsteps behind me. Multiple ones. I knew I got myself into a pickle and now I had to figure out how to get out of it. Only a few steps more I told myself, only a few more to freedom. I pushed on further as I could see a set of bushes in front of me, they looked pretty dense and thick and I knew it was going to be my only option soon in a matter of seconds, so I pushed on through into the dense thickening bush. I pushed out my hands in front of me, to feel around to see how far I was away. From anything. I could hear the gurgling noises coming from behind me slowly, and I knew that they were on my tail. I had to act quickly. All of a sudden as soon as I pushed out this branch that was attached to this  bush, I had stumbled forward and I had come face to face with a ledge. The breeze from below was calming and concerning considering how far away I was. I felt around me and if I took one more step I'd fall to my death.

*Author's POV*

Aaron had stumbled upon a ledge, yes, but that was not the case. If he knew what was in front of him, he be astonished, astounded, amazed and all of the above. Because anyone who'd lay eyes on this would be blown away from such an art that was laid throughout the land. Anyone would be jealous at the fact that this was in the middle of nowhere on an island, probably for a good reason that it was. When someone deliberately hides something, they do it for a reason. Do not dig it up, do not go looking for it, don't do anything. Because we all know that never goes well. What Aaron had found was truly amazing, but upon observation there was a statue in the middle of this court yard. Shame Aaron couldn't see it. Everything was torn to shreds with only an ounce of a few walls standing and rubble that was scattered along the floor. Wait isn't that the statue of Lady Irene?
