I looked over to Benny's phone to see who he was texting because I was curious to see who it was. As I saw it was Ham Benny clearly saw me looking "ayy what you looking ?" He says with a laugh "what did ham say" "oh he was just asking if I was going out tonight, every year me and the boys go to the carnival, and today is that day" he says it's a smile "heyy you should come with us! Smalls is coming so you should too!" Benny tells me as he puts his arm around me "that sounds fun, but like you said it is a "boys thing" I don't want to intrude" "you won't be sky comes too" As I thought about it I decided a carnival does sound like fun "you know what sure I'll come" "Yay then it's a date" wait what a date? This would be my first date and I don't know a lot but isn't a date a like couple kinda thing and not like friends and couple thing? "Can't wait!" I say with a nervous look and we finally got to my front door "Well I'll pick you up later Girlfrienddd" Benny says flirty "Okay Boyfrienddd" I say smiling He does in to kiss me and without hesitation I kiss him and it felt like it did at the sandlot passionate, and full of love
As I walk into my home I see that my mom was in my living room with my dad and stepmom and some other unknown people "hey honey you're home! Come have a seat please" my dad says giving up his seat on the couch for me I look around the room confused "dad who are these people" I ask "hon these are me and your dads lawyers" my mom says they all single handle say their names and put their hand out for me to shake it As I do I get more and more uncomfortable with them all looking at me "why are they here?" I ask both of my parents at the same time say "well there's a problem" they both say the other should go and say it so my mom decides to say it
"hon hen I was on my way up here I was really upset with your father and called my lawyers" I nodded my head "and try to have them find somewhere in me and your dads contract that said I was allowed to have you in the summer time, and well they said they would get back to me but then me, your father and you all resolved our issues with one another and after I dropped you off I was going to call my lawyers but it was too late" Shock Shock is what ran through my mind hearing my mom said it was too late "Mom what was too late" "My lawyers did find something in our contract that I am supposed to have you this summer and the first three weeks of August" my mom says with a sigh "Wait what" I say my mom lives in Houston and I live in California" "Honey now listen the lawyers are trying their hardest to make an exception this summer but we don't know how long it will take" my dad says but I don't believe them I instantly start crying and everything started becoming blurry I need to get out of here So I ran straight to my room.
*a couple hours later*
I woke up with the most driest mouth in the world my room was so dark and where is my phone? Ugh there it is *5:46 pm* I guess I fell asleep oh look a text from Benny oh Benny I have to tell him about this whole "summer situation" with my parents as I stared to tear up again I clicked at his text

OMG BENNY IS TAKING ME ON MY FIRST DATE AND I HAVE 20 MINUTES TO GET READY I immediately start to look threw my closet as I am doing my hair hoping I have time for makeup. I finally find a outfit

Finally I do my hair and my makeup just in time for Benny to text me he is here As I go downstairs my mom is still over but the lawyers all left and my mom and dad and stepmom are talking "Hey hon where are you going looking so good!" My mom says "I got a date my first one so please don't embarrass me thank youu" they all laugh "A DATE!?" My dad says with a kinda angry face my step mom and mom laugh
As I open the door I see him standing there with a dark brown leather jacket with a black shirt and dark denim pants with a pretty singular dark red rose in his hand "hi Benny" I say with a smile "hi Olivia" as we are just there staring at each other he finally snaps back "oh uh this is for you" he says giving me the rose I am so blushing. That's when my dad comes up to the door along my step mom and my mom "I want her home inside under this house at 10:39 sharp no later than that you hear me kid?" My dad says I feel so embarrassed "daddd" I say trying to get his ex and his wife to calm him down "yes sir I mean George I mean Olivia's dad I mean-"
"OKAYYY well y'all kids go have fun! BE SAFE" my mom says I smile back at her mindfully saying "thank you"
*at the carnival*
Me and Benny meet up with the boys and sky and we all buy tickets Benny the gentleman he is pays for me as we get on a couple ride he buys me a lemonade and won me a cute teddy bear "aww it's so cute thank you Benny" I say kissing his cheek walking to another ride all the boys looking at benny get a kiss Then all the boys go up to him "yo Bennyman that was sick! Like the good kind" squints say "EWW YOU GOT COOTIES" ham says "my mom says she is pregnant now that y'all kissed" Kenny says all the boys start ooing some say it is t true but Benny's face seems like he believes it
As Benny walks away I tell him "you know that's not how it works Benny I am not pregnant" He laughs and says "oh yeaa I know that"
There's this one spiny ride that all the boys go on but first Gam takes out a big pack of chewing tobacco and says "c'mon all the big leads use it!" So all the boys do expect me and sky "I tried it once and it was so bad" sky tells me we both decided to sit this ride out
As the ride stars some of the boys start to look nauseous... "Oh no" me and sky both say That's when more of the boys look so sick That's when all at once they started to vomit "OH MY GOSH RUNN" sky yells as we run laughing but also wanted to throw up.
That's when the boys got off the ride and we all decided to sit down. Me and sky decided to go get the boys some water to help them. After that we decided to head home.
Benny got me home just in time for my curfew we could practically see my dad peeking out the window waiting for me. "I had so much fun with you liv" "me too Benny except the throw up part..." "Oh yeah sorry about that" Benny says putting his hand on the back of his neck "Olivia I was thinking come have dinner I realized since I got to meet yours come meet mine even if you already met sky" "oh yea I also met your other sister Lilly" that's when I told him about how I went to his house before going to the sandlot to kiss
That's when all my memories and good times with Benny started to flood in and I remember the news my mom dropped on me oh I have to tell Benny but not now not here "Benny you should come over tomorrow before dinner with your family just to hangout" "uh okay I'll go home with you after the sandlot!" "Oh yes that sounds perfect!" "You're perfect"Benny says smiling as he goes in to kiss me my dad opens the door and me and Benny instantly jump and both faces are so red from embarrassment "oh uh see you later Benny?" I say awkwardly "yea um see ya" that's when we did the most weirdest thingy ever a high five... Oh my gosh
