Summary: Wolf and Hoxton are casing a jewellery store

Third Person POV

Wolf and Hoxton had been sent to reconnoitre a new jewellery store for an upcoming heist. This was the usual when they robbed stores like this one. The store wasn't much different than any of the previous ones they had stolen from before, except the slightly more security cameras around.

While undercover as normal civilians, the two criminals looked for each and every blind spot that the cameras couldn't see, exits and entrances, amount of security guards, the security system, and what not—just everything the gang would need to know about the store.

Keeping a subtle eye on the cameras and the locations of the safes, they walked around the shop. They had to be careful as to not attract any unwanted attention towards them, as it would jeopardise their entire heist, and considering that they were rather vulnerable right now, they'd likely get arrested on the spot.

A little bit they had entered the store, Hoxton had noticed what seemed to be an employee staring at them with a slightly suspicious gaze. He walked a little closer to Wolf, muttering a few words to him.

"Careful, I think they're staring to suspect something's up. Let's quickly get this done."

Wolf continued to browse the store's items, pretending to be a normal customer, but the heister's guard was up.

He also noticed the employee staring at them with a suspicious gaze, which he found a little annoying.

   Wolf muttered back to Hoxton.

"I don't like that look she's giving us. Can she tell that we're casing the joint?"

   "I don't know..."

Hesitating for a second, Hoxton quickly glanced back at the employee, though covering it by pretending to look at some rings that were in a glass display box.

He felt a slight pang of panic in his chest when he saw her beginning to slowly walk towards where they stood. He turned around, looking up at Wolf slightly.

"Shit, she's coming this way...!" He whispered, though his voice containing both annoyance and some worry.

Wolf felt his blood boil a little as the employee made her way over to them. It didn't look like things were going to plan.

He continued to browse the items, now with a scowl on his face.

"Keep your cool. Don't lose your temper," Wolf mumbled under his breath. He tried to calm himself down. He knew that if that little employee said something wrong, well... it wouldn't end well.

The employee soon stood about only a few feet away from the two criminals.

"Is there something I can help you two with?" She asked, a suspicious undertone in her voice.

Hoxton mentally swore in his head, before he quickly tried to think of something that wouldn't cause her to call security for their odd and rather lengthy stay in the store.

"I, uh..." his eyes darted around a bit, before his gaze landed on the display of shiny rings beside him. He didn't exactly want to use what he had in mind, but it was either that or prison again.

"We were just looking for engagement rings...!" The Brit replied with a faux smile, his arms wrapping around one of Wolf's, as his head rested on his shoulder, as if they were an actual couple.

Wolf, though surprised by the action of his partner, played along to the role of a couple, his annoyance slowly fading, being replaced by amusement.
