Heads up: Requested Dallas x Hoxton oneshot by Charlie (Nate's online friend)

Third Person POV

It was a seemingly mundane morning, and Dallas woke up, did his morning routine and what not. However, as he went downstairs to eat some breakfast, he couldn't help but notice Clover, Sokol, and Bonnie, and specifically his little brother Houston, giggling and smiling as if they knew something he didn't.

He raised a brow at Houston, who immediately got the message, knowing his older brother wanted to know what was going on.

"You seriously don't know?" Houston smirked.

Dallas only shook his head, his expression shifting to become a little suspicious now.

"Last night?" The younger prompted, raising a brow as if Dallas should have known instantly what they were all laughing about. "You guys were really loud..."

It was only until a few moments of thinking and recalling that Dallas finally realised what happened.

—//FLASHBACK//—

It was a week since the gang had broke Hoxton out of jail. So far, they've only had one heist, but it didn't go very well. Hoxton kept making rather rude remarks towards Houston, and it seemed like Houston began to dislike the other man because of that. That resulted in Dallas having to try to plan a heist that would be easy and need teamwork, so his two gangmates could maybe not get mad at each other.

However, a loud banging on his door caught Dallas' attention. He got up from his desk, the plans for the gang's next heist being left for later, it seemed.

As soon as he opened the door, an angry Hoxton entered the room.

"Why the fuck did you have to recruit your incompetent piece of shit brother!?" Hoxton shouted, approaching the other man, obviously very angry. "Not only did he get himself shot, he got Wolf and Chains shot!!"

And while the injuries their other gangmates had gotten weren't fatal, they were either enough to put them out of commission or put them in a sore and uncomfortable state. And that pissed Hoxton off.

Dallas slammed the door shut, and let out a sigh. He knew that the shorter man did have some truth in his words, but Hoxton didn't need to be so rude towards Houston.

Knowing that Hoxton would only keep complaining unless he found some way to shut him up. And Dallas knew what would likely work—alcohol.

He pulled out a bottle of booze from his desk—something he just kept in case he ever wanted a drink—and handed one to the other man.

Hoxton was slightly confused at the offer of alcohol, but soon took the bottle into his own hand, gulping down a large amount of the drink, as if his anger had made everything he did a lot more aggressive.

Dallas silently watched as Hoxton pretty much chugged the alcohol, before sitting himself down on the couch. He then patted the spot next to him, wanting Hoxton to sit next to him.

"We need to talk," he began, trying to remain calm.

A small scowl remained on Hoxton's face, even with the help of the alcohol. He had already finished about a third of the bottle, and seemed on finishing it, even if it would cause him to become a little tipsy.

He soon sat down onto the couch, right next to Dallas, confused but annoyed at whatever the taller man wanted to talk about.

Dallas let out another sigh, looking at the angry shorter man sitting next to him. Hoxton was like a little angry puppy, and it amused Dallas from time to time.
