Y/n's POV
Showing up to his training in the early hours of the morning was definitely not on my agenda. Or Ryan's agenda either. But life goes on, does it not? After the early morning chill had subsided after leaving Aami Park stadium that morning, the sun began to shine down it's rays of light. A hint of a glimmer appearing on my skin, contrasting with my makeup for the day. Ryan had decided to take me out for a nice, intimate picnic at one of the surrounding parks. He had planned it all behind my back before hand, I should've saw it coming. He was such a softie at heart it should've been easily predictable. I then remembered, Valentine's Day. I'd completely forgotten about it, even though it was one of the biggest holidays on my calendar since meeting Ryan. It seemed like Ryan was a sneaky little bastard after all.
As the much needed sun beamed down on Melbourne, so did the heavens. This was one of me and Ryan's first proper dates in a while, so it was good to finally treat myself with a nice day out. He must've known I'd been a sucker for sweet things lately, because gosh did he buy me all things sweet. It definitely had made up my day, since the cold weather had ruined it before. There's no telling how much Ryan brightens up my days, every week without fail. Sure the cold ruined my morning, but watching Ryan train was what made it all the better. Anything to do with Ryan made it all the better. Ryan was like the sun, and my whole entire world orbited around him. I'd never loved a man as much as I did him. Ryan was mine, and I was proud to call him my own.
"Hey babes, what do you think about the food? You were practically salivating over it the moment you laid your pretty little eyes on it." Ryan chuckles. "Best. Food. Ever! There's tens across the board, I'll tell ya that much." A grin was plastered across my face. "Glad to hear, babes. My special girl always deserves the best. Whether that be with my cuddles or with food. Safe to say, I can do both." God, I loved that man. I spared no time to finish my food, and so did Ryan. That had to be one of the best desserts I'd had since I was a little girl.
