                        Ryan's POV

I was awoken from my slumber in the early hours of the morning, I thought I'd better get ready to leave for training. I lift the covers off of my bare skin, a yawn escaping from within me. This was one of the highlights of being a player in rugby league, to wake up each morning and watch the sun arise from the horizon. I stood up out of bed, feeling slightly dazed. My body felt so stiff, I wouldn't so much as to have any clue why. I lift my head to the ceiling, stretching out my body. A low groan accompanying my morning stretches. I then look back to the bed briefly, seeing y/n sleeping like a baby, all wrapped up beneath the warmth of the covers. To be fair, that was always the true highlight of my morning. Not even the sunrise could beat waking up beside her, my one true love.

I stumble into the kitchen, making myself a simple smoothie. I just needed something to get myself a well needed morning kick. Honestly to just get ready for Bellamy's wrath. Lord knew how much of an impact training had on me, and especially training during the night. No wonder I'd always favoured mornings over night. I finished my smoothie in no time, partially because there was no time to waste. Every second counted to prepare for training, all the way down to the teeniest little things. Any imperfection, and I'd have to rush. I hated rushing, that's something anyone who knows me knew. It would ultimately send me into a fit of panic, and oh how you do not want to make me panic. Staying calm yet patient is the key to success, something I've learned over the years. Not that Bellamy would know, all jokes, he's a good coach. I made myself a bit of toast with Vegemite, an all time favorite. Breakfast was ticked off my checklist for the day.

----------------------

Now it was time to start getting into the footy spirit. Firstly, I'd need my training gear. I remembered that y/n had folded the clothes and placed them at the end of the bed. My first initial thought was that they'd fallen on the floor. Unsurprisingly when I went into the room there they were, crumpled up on the floor. I bend over with a sigh, snatching them off the floor. I looked at the bed one last time, gosh was it so irresistible not to look at her 24/7. She was the most beautiful woman I'd ever met, and certainly no doubt about it. I wouldn't even as much look the other way if some Jessica Rabbit look alike passed by me, because I knew that my girlfriend was the one for me. She always would be. I had a quick shower, just to freshen myself up. I didn't want to stink up training with my body odours. I hopped out after a few minutes, I must've woke up y/n, because the bed was now empty with her presence. I got changed into my gear, spraying on the antiperspirant beforehand. I then exited the room, showering and getting dressed was also now off the checklist.
