Story: Discovery

Ha-eun stood at the bus station, feeling a mix of anticipation and nervousness. She had been looking forward to this graduation trip, a well-deserved break after the stressful discussions with her family about her independence. Her friends Ye-na and Dong-hyun arrived early, as planned, each carrying a backpack full of essentials. Ye-na, always the energetic one, waved enthusiastically.

"Ready for an adventure?" she asked, her voice filled with excitement.

Dong-hyun checked his watch, a bit apprehensive about Yu-chan's usual tardiness. "I hope Yu-chan doesn't keep us waiting too long," he remarked.

As if on cue, Yu-chan appeared, out of breath but grinning widely. "Sorry I'm late! Let's go!" he exclaimed.

The bus ride was filled with laughter and animated conversations. Ye-na pulled out a box of homemade kimbap, sharing it with everyone. "I thought we could use some snacks," she said, her eyes twinkling.

At the destination, they found a quaint little house near the beach. It was a perfect spot, isolated enough to feel private but close enough to amenities. They spent the afternoon exploring the beach, collecting shells and corals, their pockets filled with little treasures.

"Look at this one!" Ye-na said, holding up a particularly beautiful shell. "It's so intricate and unique."

Ha-eun felt a sense of affinity with her friends, appreciating their efforts to make this trip memorable. That evening, they bought grilled clams from a local vendor and had a feast by the beach, the sound of waves adding to the serene atmosphere.

After dinner, they planned the next day's activities, including a trip to the local market for groceries and a night of fireworks. As they lay on the sand, staring at the star-filled sky, Ha-eun felt an overwhelming sense of peace and contentment. The anxiety she had felt about her new life began to fade, replaced by a sense of excitement for the future.

"Look at the stars," Dong-hyun said softly. "It's like the universe is celebrating with us."

Setting off fireworks was the highlight of the night. The sky lit up with colors, and their laughter echoed across the beach. Ha-eun realized that this trip was more than just a celebration; it was a symbol of her new beginning, a step towards discovering herself and her potential.
