Cordelia tough day.

Cordelia was heading back to her room in her private palace, unlike the 3 other palaces she owns; this one is the one she placed the most amount of and most powerful protective, preventive, and anti-teleportation spells on so that she can have her well deserved peace and quiet.

("Hello Lady Evania." "Come on Delia! Just call me Astra, we're friends after all right?")

No little sister here to annoy her(She sometimes needs Astra her loveable friend the quiet and calm with no chaos happening. She sometimes wants to be, Cordelia the quiet and alone.), no friends to pull her out of bed when she doesn't want to go out, no Astra to pull her back to reality on her toughest days, no loud noises, and just the peace and quiet of her palace.

Cordelia had just returned from work,—be a protector, they said, you have the spirit of one and it will be fun, they said. She wants to cry.—she felt exhausted in ways she hasn't felt in 3̶ ̶d̶a̶y̶s̶ a good while. She reprimanded herself for not noticing the signs before she went to work, even if most of her work today was paperwork. Cordelia was so tired she didn't even change out of her clothes and flopped onto the Queen sized bed in the middle of the left wall to the door; she couldn't help but not follow her usual after work routine

(Their soft hands on her face making her look up to the standing figure she recognized as her friend, the usually peaceful and happy face distorted from the one of disappointment, "I thought you said you would stop overworking yourself?")

Cordelia m̶i̶s̶s̶e̶d̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶d̶e̶a̶r̶e̶s̶t̶ was so tired that she fell asleep immediately after she flopped down on the bed. She n̶e̶e̶d̶e̶d̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶p̶r̶e̶c̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ ̶p̶e̶a̶r̶l̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶p̶u̶l̶l̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶b̶a̶c̶k̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶l̶i̶t̶y̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶t̶a̶n̶t̶ had a horrible dream that night, her mind reminding her of someone she missed very much and failed to protect despite of the vow to always make sure her pearl was happy, contempt, safe from the horrible darkness that  t̶o̶o̶k̶ ̶h̶e̶r̶ ̶a̶w̶a̶y̶ will hurt and break her without any remorse.

She wasn't the same person she used to be, and only her sister, Doris, noticed.

*Ring ring! Ring ring!*

She woke up, her phone was ringing and the contact that was calling was her sister. Ah, she just remembered that she forgot to put her phone on "do-not-disturb", another thing she forgot to do. She decided to indulge in her sister's shenanigans just this once and picked up the phone.

Doris: CORDELIA! OH MY MAGIC! YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHO I JUST FOUND! HOLD ON LET ME TURN MY CAMERA ON!

Doris turns her camera on and turns it to the adorable animal that looked like a fluffy dog with antlers and wings, if she didn't know better she would've said it was a dog the was experimented on, but she did know better and knew that was a puffcrinitus.

Both Cordelia and Doris started talking; although, it was probably more of Doris talking and Cordelia just listening to her rambling with a small barely noticeable smile on her face.
