Gojo and Amayra had been arguing over something trivial that had escalated unexpectedly. Gojo’s usually calm demeanor was replaced with a rare glimpse of anger. His ocean-blue eyes, usually so warm and kind, were now stormy and intense.
Gojo : *raising his voice slightly* Amayra, I’ve told you a hundred times, you can’t just ignore my messages when you’re out late! I was worried sick!
Amayra : *defensive* I wasn’t ignoring you, Gojo! My phone died, and I didn’t have a charger. You’re overreacting!
Gojo’s frustration boiled over. He ran his hand through his hair, clearly struggling to keep his emotions in check. For a moment, Amayra found herself oddly mesmerized by how handsome he looked when he was angry, his features sharp and commanding. But the tension was too much, and her eyes started to well up with tears.
Gojo : *angrily* Overreacting? Amayra, it’s not overreacting! It’s about your safety!
Amayra couldn’t hold back any longer. The tears spilled over, and she turned away, not wanting Gojo to see her cry. She felt overwhelmed and misunderstood. The sight of her tears instantly melted Gojo’s anger, replaced by a deep sense of guilt and regret.
• The Apology ---
Gojo : *softening* Amayra... oh no, please don’t cry. I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to yell.
He reached out and gently turned her to face him, his expression now filled with concern and tenderness. Amayra tried to wipe her tears, but they kept coming.
Amayra : *sobbing* You don’t understand, Gojo. I didn’t mean to make you worry. I hate it when we fight like this.
Gojo pulled her into his arms, holding her close and stroking her hair. He felt terrible for making her cry and knew he had to make things right.
Gojo : *whispering* Shh, it’s okay. I’m so sorry, Amayra. I shouldn’t have lost my temper. I just... I care about you so much. The thought of something happening to you scares me.
Amayra buried her face in his chest, her sobs gradually subsiding. Gojo continued to hold her, whispering soothing words and kissing the top of her head.
Gojo : *gently* You’re my world, Amayra. I never want to lose you. Please forgive me for being such a jerk.
• The Comfort ---
Gojo led Amayra , sitting down and pulling her onto his lap. He rocked her gently, treating her with the utmost care as if she were the most precious thing in his life.
Gojo : *softly* There, there. It’s all going to be okay. Let’s forget about the argument and just focus on us.
He wiped away her remaining tears with his thumb, his touch tender and loving. Amayra looked up at him, her eyes still a bit red but filled with affection.
Amayra : *sniffling* You really scared me, Gojo. I don’t like it when you’re angry.
Gojo : *nodding* I know, and I promise I’ll work on that. You don’t deserve to be treated like that. You deserve to be treated like a queen.
He kissed her forehead and then her cheeks, his lips brushing away the last traces of her tears. Amayra felt a warmth spread through her, comforted by his sincere apology and the love in his eyes.
Amayra : *softly* I forgive you, Gojo. Just... don’t scare me like that again.
Gojo : *smiling* I won’t. From now on, I’ll handle things better. You have my word.
He hugged her tightly, rocking her gently and humming softly, treating her with the care and affection she needed. Amayra snuggled into his embrace, feeling safe and loved, knowing that despite the occasional argument, their bond was unbreakable.
They stayed in each other’s arms, the warmth of their love enveloping them and healing the wounds caused by their earlier fight. The argument was a reminder that while they might have their differences, their love and commitment to each other would always bring them back together, stronger than before.
