Morning arrived, and Y/n's body ached with exhaustion, every step a struggle. Despite the pain, she made her way to the kitchen, knowing she had to work. As she moved, memories of her encounter with Taehyung came rushing back. She remembered his promises and threats, feeling unsure about the dark path she had agreed to follow. Doubt and fear filled her, but so did a small flicker of hope.

Y/n was diligently working in the kitchen when Ji-ah appeared. The sight of the spoiled princess awake at 7 a.m. was shocking-Ji-ah was never up this early. Ji-ah stood before Y/n, reeking of alcohol and cigarettes, her eyes filled with contempt.

Without a word, she grabbed Y/n and dragged her to the small room under the stairs, as if she had been waiting for this moment. Y/n's heart raced, fear gripping her as she wondered what fresh torment awaited her.

The poor girl trembled, her gaze fixed on the floor as she stood in the corner of the small room. Ji-ah loomed over her, exuding an aura of menace that made Y/n's fear intensify. Trembling and worried, Y/n stuttered, "U-u-unnie, d-did I d-do s-s-something wr-r-ong?"

Ji-ah's response was swift and brutal. She grabbed a fistful of Y/n's hair and yanked her head up, forcing her to meet her gaze.

Ji-ah's eyes blazed with anger as she tightened her grip on Y/n's hair, forcing the girl to look up at her.

"You think you're special?" Ji-ah spat, her voice dripping with venom. "You think you can steal attention away from me? Taehyung was looking at you last night, not me. How pathetic is that?"

Y/n's eyes filled with tears, her body trembling even more. She could barely comprehend Ji-ah's words through the pain and fear.

"You're nothing but a worthless maid," Ji-ah hissed. "Don't think for a second that someone like him would ever be interested in you. You disgust me."

With a final shove, Ji-ah released Y/n, sending her sprawling to the floor. Y/n crumpled, her heart aching not just from the physical pain but from the cruel words that cut deep into her soul. She felt utterly humiliated and worthless, exactly as Ji-ah intended.

Ji-ah towered over Y/n, a sneer of satisfaction curling her lips as she saw the girl crumple to the floor.

"You think this is bad?" Ji-ah said, her voice a menacing whisper. "If you think you can get away with stealing even a glance from me, you're more foolish than I thought. I'll tell my father and uncle. You know exactly what they'll do to you."

Y/n's eyes widened in terror, her body trembling even more violently. She knew all too well the cruelty of Ji-ah's father and uncle. The mere thought of what they could do made her stomach churn with fear.

"Do you want that, Y/n?" Ji-ah continued, leaning down to sneer directly into her face. "Do you want them to know that you dared to attract Taehyung's attention? They'll make you wish you were never born."

Y/n shook her head frantically, tears streaming down her face. She didn't dare to speak, too scared that any word might make things worse.

"Good," Ji-ah said with a smirk, straightening up. "Remember your place, you worthless maid. You're nothing, and you'll always be nothing."

Ji-ah took a few steps towards the door, then paused and turned back, a sinister smile playing on her lips. "Actually, I think you should beg me not to tell them," she said, her voice dripping with malice.
