"Woah, woah, woah!" Exclaimed Sirius, grabbing Ravens arm. "You can't just march up and kill Dumbledore! He's the most powerful and influential wizard in this century!"
"He's the reason I'm in there." Raven hissed, ripping her arm out of Sirius' grip. "Bastard didn't give me a trial."
Sirius' face dropped. "He didn't give you a trial? He didn't give me a trial either."
Raven shrugged in a 'see? I told you so' way and carried on walking.
"Wait! You never told me what you did to end up in there."
"I was unjustly accused of murdering a family of six."
Sirius' jaw dropped. "And you didn't get a trial? That's so fucked up."
"Tell me about it."
"And how old were you?"
"Eight."
"They locked up an eight year old in Azkaban?!" Sirius screeched. "I think I'm going to help you kill Dumbledore."
Raven grinned. "And what did you do, dear cousin?"
"I was also unjustly accused, no trial, no hearing, nada." A thoughtful expression crossed his face. "We're more similar than we think. How strange, huh?"
They began to walk down a road which lead to a small village in the distance. The wind ruffled Ravens hair and sent chills down her body, but she didn't dare complain.
"Sirius." She said. "Turn into a dog. Now."
"Huh? Why?"
"Now!"
He gave her a confused look but transformed, nonetheless. She grabbed the back of his neck and dragged him to the side of the road just as a car began to drive down towards them. Raven began to wave her hands erratically, until the car slowed down to a stop next to her.
"Oh my!" Gasped a woman from inside, her eyes wide. "Dear, are you alright?"
Raven hated to think how she looked. The last time she saw a mirror was when she was eight and the last time she had a proper meal was when she was eight. No doubt, malnutrition and imprisonment had taken a toll on her appearance.
"Please." She cried. "Can you give me and my dog a ride down to some more civilised place? I'm lost and I don't know where my mummy is."
The woman wasted no time in pushing open the passenger side of the car. "Come in, come in!"
Raven pushed Sirius into the backseat and made herself comfortable in the front. A shiver passed through her body.
"What happened, dear?" The woman asked.
"I went for a swim with my dog." Raven sniffled. "But the waves took me. Me and Barney washed up on the beach over there!"
"Sweetie, where's your home?"
Raven tried to quickly imagine a map of the UK and analyse what would be believable. "Aberdeen." She said finally.
