Head canons| Riley & Val

Riley sat down next to her girlfriend as they watched the hockey game. Leaning her head on her shoulder, placing her hand on her's.

It brought her back to all of the memories of the weekend they had met in hockey camp.

She has arrived after being dropped off by her parents. Riley was sad for her friends having to leave. She couldn't even bare the thought of having to go to high school without them, she was sad.

She soon had went to go find her friends. Her expression has soon changed before she bumped into her literal idol.

She helped her up, and it only went from there.

They had started to hangout more over the course of the few days, and became close due to similar interest, and love for hockey.

The two girls had instantly became best friends, and Riley was bonding with their group. Becoming more like them by the day.

They most certainly had some of the same ideas, like their wanting for pizza on an early practice morning for skating, and getting up earlier than everyone else to get in some extra ice time.

But they also has their differences, Riley was not a very big fan of the bar Val had offered her one morning as she munched on one herself. But as feeling not wanting to let her down, she tried one.

Val had always stuck up for her, even when Riley wasn't around. She would tell the girls not to say certain things around her as to not make her anxious, and calmed the team when they thought she wouldn't be ready.

Riley looks at the same girl she's loved all these years, the girl who had always put a smile on her face when she felt sad and lifted her up, encouraging her when she felt like she was on the verge of giving up.

Val looked down at Riley who already seemed busy admiring her before pecking her lips. This snapped Riley out of her trance as she looked up. Val had given her a comforting smile as she gave one back at her.

She then leaned her head back on her shoulder. Definitely couldn't wait to see what memories they would make next with each other .
