I was looking out the car window, excitedly waiting for Riley to come out.

She, and her mom decided on spending some mother daughter time in Canada for a bit. Visiting family, and spending some time on the beach.

Mostly just bonding stuff. Me and my dad came here to pick them up as I had wanted to see Riley right away. And we drove them to the airport. Goodbye was a little challenge for both of us.

I waited a bit longer, but decided to calm myself a bit so I didn't overthink it, and content as I waited.

I was a bit worried after some time passed, and I could tell that my dad was too.

We were no longer sure where they were, until I saw Riley and her mom in eyesight as they rushed up to the car.

I flew open the car door as I walked towards her in a fast enough motion, and gave her the biggest hug I've ever given a person.

She hugged me back with the same amount of energy, and we stayed there for a few moments as I relinquished the precious moment

I kissed her on the lips, dipping her a bit as we did. I was so happy she was back, and I'm pretty sure she felt the same.
