It's Saturday
The last day of work, since on Sunday is my day off. Honestly I don't got this position because I didn't want to have a day off on monday-saturday, cause it felt wrong
plus I'm going church on Sundays so it's worth it
"Wow saya ah?" I heard Denise
"Oo naman, last day ko ehh!" I smiled
"Tara coffee" Imbita nya at sumama naman ako
Habang nag oorder kami ng coffee ay may narinig kaming babae, she was apologizing
"Tignan mo oh" Tawag ni denise sakin pagkatpos ko maabot ang bayad sa nag bebenta
Lumingon naman ako, to see Alexander standing with his right hand on his pocket, his secretary was beside him staying calm, tapos yung babae naman naka luhod
"Anong nangyayari?" Tanong ko
"I think she got fired?" Sagot naman ni denise
"For what?"
"Dahil sa chismis na pinag kalat nya" We heard sir pedi
"Sir pedi?!" Sigaw naman namin ni denise
Andito pala sya? di ko nakitaaa! gulat na gulat ako
"You heard me, she got fired because of a rumor she spread" Napa taas naman kilay ko sa sinabi nya
"Anong klaseng chismis bayan at ganyan talaga sya maka luhod?" Tanong ko at uminom na ng kape
"She made a rumor of them sleeping together" Nailabas ko lahat ng kape sa bibig ko
"Ano?!" lumapit si denise sakanya, chismosa talaga
"Hoy tama na yan, hayaan nyo na" Sabi ko at hinila si Denise
"I think he's gonna file some charges, or just fire her. I don't know, narinig kolang din" Sabi ni sir pedi
Napa tingin naman ako sa dereksyon ni sir Alex, ng makita ko na palapit sya samin
"Hi" He smiled, he's smiling as if nothing happened!
"Hello?" I answer my right eyebrow raised
"Are you free tomorrow?" He asked
"Tomorrow night yes"
"Good, how does 8pm sounds?" He looked at his secretary as she started writing something
"Good...I guess? Ano ba meron?" Tanong ko
"I just wanna hangout" He then waved his hand and walked away
Naka tayo lang kami tatlo dun, we didn't even know what happened, it happened so fast!
Denise leaned in to me still staring at the direction Alexander walked away in
"Crush ka ba nya?" Tanong nya
"Gaga kaba, kaka kilala lang namin kahapon. Mahiya ka naman" Sagot ko, at napa inom nalang ng kape
"Go back to work girls" Saad ni sir pedi at umuo nalanh kami at sumabay sakanya pabalik
Maya maya pa ay naka uwi na nga ako, the moment I got out of the taxi I noticed a box outside of my house
It was a brown box with a red ribbon holding it together, kinuha ko ito at pumasok na sa bahay
Naligo muna ako at kumain, ang haba kasi ng araw! Nakaka pagod talaga mabuhay mag isa
Pag katapos ko mag hugas ay dinala ko ang box sa living room, I slowly opened it and it was heels.
See through glass, heels. There was a light color of blue in it and a bit of pink, more like Cinderella's shoes
"Who sent me this..?"
I thought of my parents, nag papadala sila halos buwan buwan, pero parang di galing sakanila
I took the heels and there was a letter under it,
'Hi June, it's me Alexander.
I bought you heels for tomorrow, I'm sorry I sent this randomly, I saw this at the mall yesterday and I thought of you. I got your address from your manager. So maybe you can wear it later 8? I'd love to see how it looks on you!(｡♡‿♡｡)' —Alexander Petrov (09*******)
Sir..?
I took the card an dialed the number, it rang for a few seconds before it was answered
"hello? did you like the heels I sent you?" His voice so raspy yet so soft
"Umm...thank you so much for the heels sir, but...are you sure it's mine? you didn't actually have to--"
"Yes it's yours. Don't worry it didn't cost me that much, just 154,000 or less" He answered casually, I bet he has his signature smile right now
"154k?! Sir I can't accept this.." I know I'm rich myself but I'm not a spender
"Don't worry about it, keep it. Please" He pleased
"Sir...really. This cost too much" I sighed
"But it looks good on you, don't give it back. Just wear it for me." His voice turned lower and lower
"Okay, I'll wear it but I'll pay it as soon as we meet!" I stuttered
"Sir..? Sir! Is he asleep?" I tried calling him again, no, I think he fell asleep
Must be hard being an owner of a company at a young age huh?
I just ended the call and sighed, tomorrow 8pm, I'm going to church at 12pm
Pumunta na lang ako sa kuwarto ko pag katapos ko maipatay lahat ng ilaw, itinapon ko sarili ko sa kama at humiga ng maayos
it feels so good to say that I don't have to worry about my alarm, and my work!
"What should I wear?" I opened my eyes
Binuksan ko ang ilaw sa kuwarto, binuksan kodin ang cabinet ko. I'm always like this, I wear modest clothes whenever I go to church, but sometimes I only wear hoodies
"Black dress.." I looked around to see it, but if I wear it I would like Wednesday Adams
"How about...blue!" I looked for the dress, Nakita ko na din pero di bagay, Mukha akong tita sa family reunion
"hmm..." May Nakita akong long white dress, it's a maxi dress or whatever it's called, I forgot
"Bagay!" I shouted,
Ito na ang outfit ko for tomorrow, white long maxi dress, with glass heels.
"Di naman Pala masakit tong heels eh" I looked down, it looks good on me
"Galing mo pumili Alex!" I gave the mirror a thumbs up
A few moments later
"I'm so cringe."
