Vivienne's POV

I sat under the tree and pulled out a box of Marlboro cigarettes, I took one out of the box and placed it between my lips. I tried looking for a lighter in my purse, but I couldn't find one.

Fuck why was this happening to me.

Smoking was not permitted, so finding a place where they would sell lighters was hard, especially since the school was far away from the city, and the only store near the school was 10 kilometers away.

I sighed and put the cigarette back in its box. I checked the time and realized I still had 45 minutes left till literature class.

I took out my phone from my purse and opened Instagram. I was scrolling through my feed when I stumbled upon Atticus' new post. The picture was of him, Lilliana and Sophia. They were clearly partying after I saw what they were wearing. Atticus was wearing a casual suit, while Lilliana and Sophia were both wearing short dresses.

I clicked on Sophia's profile, I scrolled through her Instagram, looking at her posts. To be honest, this wasn't my first time doing it. I scrolled through her profile, I wasn't stalking her, I was just looking, and looking isn't the same as stalking, right?

"Stalking me now?" I flinched at her sudden presence. I rolled my eyes. She really thought I was stalking her?

I lifted my eyes to scan her body. She was wearing the school uniform that consisted of a short skirt, a blue blazer, with the school's badge, with a polo shirt inside and a red tie. I wasn't gonna lie, it looked so good on her, it fit her perfectly.

Sophia sat beside me. "Are you really going to pretend like you weren't stalking me, Blondie?"

"Because I wasn't stalking you, lesbo" she rolled her eyes with my comment. "I was just looking at your Instagram feed."

"I'm not a lesbian, Kingsley," Sophia said. "The truth is I'm in love with you," I froze at her words but then calmed down when she started laughing out loud. "Kingsley, you really thought I was going to be in love with a spoiled person like you?"

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. Standing up and making my way to Literature class, I needed to get away from there before I had my hands pulling out her hair.

I still had 10 minutes left before literature class, but I needed to leave from there before Sophia and I stormed into a fight. I didn't want to ruin my makeup or my uniform, but if we weren't at school I would've indeed fought her.

I entered the class and saw Ava sitting in the front row. I uttered a hi to her and sat in the last row.

I mentally prayed for the rest of the day to go as fast as It could. I needed to relax for a bit after the encounter with Carrington, that girl got on my nerves.
