chapter eight. there is no tour without willa lane. 

Augustine paces around the studio. "Guys.. she's never this late." she chirps. 

"Yeah no shit." Levi snaps. 

"Hey, don't snap at me." Augustine glares at him. "We can't start practice without her, she's our lead."

"Well maybe we need a new lead." Levi suggests. "A male lead."

Augustine scoffs. "Yeah, no fucking way. Willa would never let that happen."

"Then maybe we don't need to tell Willa."

The thought lingers in the air and the door creaks open. "We don't need to tell me what...?" Willa asks as she studies the four other members of The Crave.

"Willa." Levi greets and her gaze flicks to Genevieve behind the recording glass. 

"You have got to be fucking kidding me." she mutters and glanced at Levi, scrunching her nose slightly in disgust. "Levi." 

Augustine moves in closer towards Willa. "Lets get started...?" she suggests. 

"Well, actually, since she missed Parker maybe we should tell her about the tour." Easton suggests. 

Levi glances at Willa. "This is going to be a long tour... so if you prefer to sit this one out, to go.. and do whatever it is you do on race weekends, please be my guest."

Willa glances at Augustine; cutting him off. "There is no tour without me. I'm the face of The Crave. Its not called The Crave, its Willa Lane and The Crave. I'm the band, without me, you three with the exception of Augustine would be nothing."

There's a heavy silence and Augustine pauses. "We could tie the tour around race weekends." she says quietly. "I have commitments on race weekends so unless you plan to find a back up vocalist and keyboardist in time, that's our only choice."

"Seriously?" Levi asks. 

"Who died and made you queen?" Augustine frowns. "Last I checked the only two people allowed to tell us what to do in this band are Willa and Parker."
