Chap 4: Simulated Universe!

[Herta Space Station, Master Control Zone]

Stelle opened her eyes and woke up on a medical bed in the space station. She sat up in bed while placing a hand on her head and looked around.

'Is this the space station?' Stelle wondered.

" Hello there~" 

A cheerful voice interrupted her thoughts as Stelle looked at the source of the voice, seeing March, who had a cute smile on her beautiful face as usual.

"Not bad. It would've been even better if you didn't faint. But thanks to you, the Doomsday Beast was as tame as a kitten. It had no temper at all." March praises Stelle.

"Did we win?" Stelle asked confusedly. Her mind was still a bit foggy after waking up.

"Yes, and you are the hero." March grinned before she came closer and whispered with Stelle, who blushed slightly when she saw how close they were. "And do you know? Ace is a god."

"A god?" Stelle tilted her head in confusion.

"Shhh~! Be careful about blurting things out loud — it could attract unwanted attention." March whispered before continuing. "Mr. Welt confirmed it, but he said that this should be left for Ace to explain to everyone. And Ace said that he will explain after everyone returns to the express."

"I see..." Stelle nodded before she saw March step back.

"Anyway, get up when you feel better." March told her. "Himeko wants you to go find her. I have something to do, so I won't go with you, alright? By the way, we should exchange beacons. If you get lost or something, feel free to text me." 

Seeing the logic, Stelle agreed and brought out her phone, the two quickly exchanging numbers.

March nodded to herself as she kept her phone in her pocket.

"Okay, off I go. Bye!" March said goodbye to her.

Then March turned and left as Stelle blankly watched her, still trying to organize her thoughts. Just as she managed to do so, her phone rang, indicating a message.

[March 7th: Hey there, this is March :D

March 7th: Himeko wants to talk to you about something. Don't forget~]

Briefly wondering why March had to text her just minutes after their conversation, Stelle pockets her phone starts looking around for Himeko. After a while, she finally finds Himeko, who is talking with Ace. She approaches them and they were quick to notice her. Both had a look of relief written on their faces.

"Stelle! You're alright!" Ace was relieved when he saw that Stelle had regained consciousness.

"You're awake. I had March and Dan Heng stay by the Express to keep an eye on things." Himeko said as she looks at Stelle. Then, she checks the time. "It's almost time. She should be arriving any moment now."

Hearing Himeko say that, Stelle and Ace both wondered if there were any other members of Astral Express they hadn't met yet?

Just as Stelle and Ace were about to ask who Himeko was talking about, an unfamiliar voice entered their ears.

"I've only been gone, what? A few months? And the space station is already in this state?"

Turning around, Stelle and Ace saw a girl is approaching to their place.

That girl takes the form of a ball-jointed puppet depicting a petite young woman with long ash brown hair and a pair of purple eyes. She also has matching purple nail polish on each finger.
