Astral Express, Parlor Car

Stelle, March, and Ace went to look for Dan Heng, but before they got far, March split up and went to the window while Stelle and Ace continued to look for Dan Heng, which was quite simple since he was standing at the end of the Parlor Car, so they approached him and had a conversation.

"Are you doing okay after your first jump?" Dan Heng asked. "Dizziness or retching are normal reactions. You'll feel better once you get used to it."

Stelle shook her head and Ace shrugged.

"I feel fine." Stelle replied.

"I'm used to these type of things." Ace said.

"So you have high compatibility with the Express. That's good." Dan Heng gives them a nod.

"Why aren't you with everyone else?" Stelle asked Dan Heng.

"I enjoy being alone, especially when I have important work to do." Dan Heng said before he looking at the Jarilo-VI. "I went through the Express' database, and it seems the environment on Jarilo-VI has undergone drastic changes in the past few centuries. It was not a frozen planet to begin with..."

"Welt says it was caused by a Stellaron." Stelle said.

"He said so?" Dan Heng pondered as he puts his hand on his chin. "Hmm... considering the spatial obstacles that the star rail has encountered, it's highly possible."

"They really are a big problem, aren't they?" Ace asked.

This earned him a collective nod from the rest.

"I've conducted a preliminary survey and found that there's one area with a relatively normal temperature on the surface of the planet. By "normal," I mean a temperature that just about allows for human survival." Dan Heng shared. "If I had to choose a site for initial investigation on this trailblazing expedition, that would be it."

"Himeko wants you, me, Ace, and March 7th to go together." Stelle told him.

Dan Heng wasn't all too surprised by this. He blinked before releasing a small sigh.

"... As I expected. Before you came, whenever March wanted to go anywhere, Himeko would make Mr. Yang and me go with her. And even after you arrived, I didn't suppose I'd be the one to be.. liberated of that duty." Dan Heng releasing another small sigh before he continued. "I assume the trailblazing objective this time is to find the Stellaron on Jarilo-VI and dispel the effect it's exerting on the star rail... right?"

Stelle and Ace nodded.

"I see." Dan Heng nodded before he added. "Stelle, Ace, you two should find March. I'll join you three once I'm ready."

Stelle and Ace nodded again and left to look for March. They came near to the window, where March was standing.

March noticed them and greeted them with a grin before she spoke up.

"Did you talk to Dan Heng? How'd it go?"

"He doesn't seem very enthusiastic." Stelle reported.

March let's out a sigh.

"That's our Dan Heng — always trying to look cool with his poker face. Don't mind him~" March laughed before noticing the slight crease in Stelle's face. "Relax, Stelle! Dan Heng and I are experienced trailblazers! We got your back! And besides, we have Ace as our new trump card!"

Ace chuckled nervously about that.

'Why do I have a feeling this is going to go off the rails?' Ace thought to himself. March reminded him of Kiana when she was a student, every time Kiana said something that sounded confident, things would go off the rails.
