The room feels like a prison, suffocating Jaehyun with its walls as he reels from the overwhelming emotions crashing over him like a tidal wave. Without warning, he lashes out, throwing anything within arm's reach across the room.

His screams echo off the walls, a symphony of anguish and frustration.

"Why? Why just why did this happen to me?" he cries out, tears streaming down his face like a torrential downpour. He wants to scream at the heavens, demanding answers from whatever cosmic force has orchestrated this cruel twist of fate. He's not allowed to see his hyung, nor is he allowed to go to Theo and tell him the truth. It's all because of his stupid identity and this stupid organization. "To hell with it!" he shouts, his voice raw with agony.

Ethan and Woobin rush to his side, trying to hold him back before he hurts himself further. Ethan murmurs apologies, his arms wrapped tightly around Jaehyun, a desperate attempt to offer comfort in the midst of chaos. "I'm sorry, Jaehyun. I didn't know... I'm so sorry this happened. We'll find a way through this," he whispers, his voice laced with regret.

But amidst Jaehyun's turmoil, a single thought consumes him—is his hyung ever going to come back?

As night falls, Jaehyun sits in the dimly lit room, his eyes vacant, his soul numb. He feels like a shell of his former self, hollowed out by grief and despair. Ethan sits beside him, a silent presence offering solace in the darkness.

"I'll talk to Dad," Ethan says softly, breaking the heavy silence. "You can go and talk to Theo."

Jaehyun looks up at Ethan, his eyes filled with a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness. "Really?" he asks, his voice trembling with emotion.

Ethan nods, his expression somber. "I'm sorry my dad lied to you. He just saw you as his own son and didn't want to lose a valuable asset in the organization.

I'm not saying he was right, and you have every right to demand answers," he explains, his tone filled with sincerity. "But for now, I think you need someone who can show you that you're not alone. So go talk to Theo."

Jaehyun's heart swells with gratitude as tears of relief and gratitude well up in his eyes. He throws his arms around Ethan, embracing him tightly. "Thank you," he whispers, his voice choked with emotion.

But before he can take a single step, Woobin enters the room, his usually stoic demeanor marred by sadness and sorrow. Jaehyun's heart quickens its pace, a sense of foreboding creeping over him.

"I had someone look into Kwang's family," Woobin begins, his voice heavy with the weight of his words, "to keep an eye on them and ensure their safety."

Jaehyun's breath catches in his throat, a sense of impending doom settling over him like a shroud. He braces himself for the worst as Woobin continues.

"They told me that Kwang's wife heard the news of the blast and his death," Woobin says, his voice barely above a whisper. "She went into shock, and right now both the baby and the mother are in danger."

"No, no, please," Jaehyun pleads, his voice choked with emotion.

Woobin's next words hit Jaehyun like a physical blow. "I've already booked a flight for you to the States. That's where Kwang has been staying with his wife. I think she needs you."

Jaehyun collapses to the floor, his heart aching with an intensity he can scarcely bear. It's all a blur as he's whisked away, his mind consumed by a haze of grief and despair.

He finds himself on a plane, then in the States, then driving to the hospital where Kwang's wife is fighting for her life. Ethan takes charge, gathering information while Jaehyun struggles to stay upright, his world spinning out of control.
