Embers POV.
Do you ever just think to yourself, what the heck am I doing?
No? Well you better stop listening to me because this is for the people at the back.
Everybody wants a little bit of normality in their lives. Whether that be in their job, home life or simply just being a boring person.
I have the pleasure of having no normality.
Not in a bad way of course, it's just I'm not boring, my home life is well... Chaotic and job wise? Please, I'm to take over my father's position in a few years to come- now that job isn't boring.
Alpha Queen Ember has a nice ring to it right?
Wait- I didn't tell you!
Witches, Wizards, Vampires... Werewolves? We're all real, living right under your human noses.
Where do I fit in to this?
My father is Alpha King Alarick Montgomery, leader of all Werewolves in the world.
I'm Alpha Princess Ember Montgomery.
"Do I have to go?"
"Yes, you do."
Grumbling as my mum handed me my uniform, I slugged my way upstairs and out of the kitchen to get ready.
I don't understand why I have to go.
My parents have some kind of idea that I'm too... Reluctant to meet new people. So guess what they've done?
Did you guess it? Well I'm telling you anyway-
They've signed me up to go to the Alpha Academy so that I can mingle with Alphas that I'll be bullying- no not bullying. Leading in the future.
You see, some of these soon to be alphas are lovely, they're parents respectful and useful when it comes to not only running their pack but passing on the duties to their children.
Others on a different hand, are nightmares, they're rude, condescending and think it's nice to treat pack members differently based on hierarchy.
My dad, hates that and so do I.
One pack in particular, Half Moon. They are the worst.
It's so bad, my dad is worried that if I saw the behaviour, he thinks I'd commit murder. So I'm surprised why he hasn't.
Straightening out my tie and blazer, I frowned as I see how ridiculous I look. My hair is tied as tight as possible into a ponytail, skirt well... Little to the imagination there- this is not how I should be dressing as a royal. I should look respectable not like a slut.
"Ember, Dan is waiting for you in the car. Can you come down. Same goes for Zen and Lola!" I hear my father's voice boom across the pack house and after a quick roll of my eyes, I headed straight down, bumping into Zen on the stairs as I did.
"Dude!" He groaned as he rubbed his shoulder and I giggled. "Come on before your dad kicks our asses."
Walking into the kitchen, I held back a laugh as my mum was sorting Lola's tie out, my dad was speaking quietly to Dan who was twirling the car keys around his middle finger, holding it up at us.
"Right, now that you're all here... Be nice, be kind, be respectful. Any bad behaviour from packs, especially Alphas- you report to me. The students all live local as their packs are scattered across the cities and borders, if you want to visit- please do just let me know so I can send Beta Chen and Gamma Leon there too. Are we clear?" My dad folds his arms and we all nod our heads.
"Yes dad."
"Yes Alpha."
"You got it Uncle Ricky."
"Good. Now go." He smiled and I threw my bag over my shoulder before giving both my dad and mum a hug, their arms wrapping around me tightly. "Remember your position Ember. Set an example." He winked and I laughed before waving him goodbye.
Rolling my eyes as I hear Dan beeping the car horn, I flipped my middle finger up at him which he laughed at. I got into the car and sat beside Lola.
Oh crap- you don't even know who Lola and Zen are.
Lola is my cousin, she is also future Gamma. She is so pretty and blonde but don't let her fool you, that girl will snap your neck if you tick her off the wrong way.
Zen is our future Beta. His father and my father are best friends and so are me and Zen. He's cool and chilled out. Most people find him unlikable but that's his whole facade, he loves giggles and cuddles.
"I wonder how many sudents-"
"453. Including us." Zen cut Lola off. "Very strict school. If I were you Lola, I'd pull your skirt up they seem to have a very specific policy." He mumbled as he flicked through the school brochure.
"Ew. That's so slutty." Lola cringed before wriggling her skirt up a little.
"You three just need to make sure you have your wits about you. Three new students at a school? People will dig and try to figure out who you are and your weaknesses. Especially rival packs." Dan shouted from the front of the car. "Keep your eyes open. Especially for that Half Moon pack. Alpha King Alarick doesn't trust them, so neither should any of you." He warned as he narrowed his eyes at all of us through the mirror.
"Are they that bad?" Lola asked and Dan scoffed.
"Bad? They're murderous, traitorous and treat their pack members like shit. I've never seen anything like it." He shook his head before turning into a set of gates.
He pressed the buzzer and spoke into it before the gates rolled open along the floor.
I stared in awe at the building that is nearly as big as our pack house.
The red brick exterior, matched with dark brown wooden doors. The Royal Pack colours waving on flags lined at the top of the building showing their alliance to the Alpha Royals.
"Okay, have fun. I'll pick you lot up at four. Don't be late." Dan warned as he sped out of the car park and away from the building.
The three of us stood with our feet glued to the ground. Other Wolves stared at us, some staring in awe as they recognise us while others have confused or angry expressions.
"People here sure know how to stare." Zen mumbled as he glared at students as we walked through.
"Some of them definitely recognise us." Lola sang as she winked at a group of boys staring at us.
"Let's just head to the Head Masters office." I pointed to the directions on the wall. "He's got our timetables."
I frowned as Zen glared at another group of students.
"Zen! Let's go."
