New member of the gang

Elena was given a room beside William for the time being. She will be searching for a work soon. Thats why William 1st chose to act on her speaking problems. She is given warm water daily and told to try to speak even if it hurts. But to no use. Its like she forgot how to speak. William uses tricks on her to make her cry out loud, scream or react but it doesn't. She just visibly shudders or runs away.... and William as usual facepalms. Just like this, one day, Bond took a knife and just slashed in front of her face. She fell down on her back.....but no scream.
James: Ugh my mission failed😭😭😭again
William: Its ok Bond san. Nothing to cry about. We all knew that wouldn't work on her *giving a bombastic side eye
Bond: THEN WHAT WOULD?
William: Lets figure it out calmly yeah?
Moran: What if she slept with someone? Would she scream out because of pleasure? Haven't tried that, have you now?
That ended Moran with a slash of knife in front of his chest and 2 pairs of glaring eyes--- one from Elena and other from Bond.
James: You and your perverted ideas! Keep it to yourself. Lets go Elena. This man is crazy.
Elena nodded aggressively and glared at him again.
William sighs and thought: Typical Moran. Now what will make her speak?
Moran: I WAS JUST GIVING AN IDEA OUCH! Good thing she doesn't have proper aim or else I would have been in hell now.
William stares and blinks. That look made Moran understand he will be talking like this only for the rest of the day and this blinking and sighing was a sign for Moran to....shut the fuck up directly. And he did!
A few days went on like this. William and Elena became close acquintances and friends  ( ofc she has to, ita teamwork basically). One day Will came up with a plan. "Its worth a shot", he thought. He went to Elena's room and asked her to come outside in the garden. He knew there was a well there( he had jumped many times don't ask why idk he is crazy). It wouldn't hurt to scare her again ( poor girl, atp she is getting a heart attack). When she came outside, William took on a sad grieved expression  ( bitch) and said," Elena dear, you aren't able to speak till now. I have failed my promise to you. And I have never broken a promise in my life. This is my end. I am going down. Please say my prayers to my brothers and friends. " Saying this he jumped down the well( welp its fun for me cause Ik whats gonna happen but poor Elena don't. Ok I will stop).
Elena looked horrified at the place he was standing just now. He is gone for real!? They have been friends even if for a short time. She had lost a best friend too soon. She doesn't wanna lose another... tears gushing out her eyes, she ran near the well. There was water inside but no sight of William. Its like he drowned in it.... Oh no no no no this...this isn't happening. Did William just....kill himself? Her throat was aching badly. Her soul was screaming so loud but she couldn't bring it outside. She couldn't scream when her friend was taken away...... She lost her Ruth....
_Inside the mansion_
Albert was reading the newspaper. Louis brought the tea set for them to drink tea together. Suddenly they heard a scream. A female's scream. They rushed outside and saw....Elena? She was crying bitterly sitting on her knees in the garden near the well.
Elena: WILLIAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! ( lol. Shuts herself*)
Albert and Louis were shocked. Elena finally used her voice and....that too...because of William? What kind of love story is this?
Louis knew his brother while Albert was shaking...with laughter ofc they know their brother. But one thing was they were glad that Elena can now speak. Baby steps.
William suddenly came out of the well(💀) and held her assuringly saying," Good lord Elena, look up, I am not dead. I am here".
Elena looked up and grabbed his shoulder, weeping on his chest. She said in broken words, sure she had used her voice but it hurts so much at the throat now," Please don't do something like this  again.  Any of you. I do not have anyone left. My only best friend left me too soon. Please.. I won't be able to bear one storm so soon again. I have gotten attached to you guys. *still weeping out of shock
William with a look of regret: I am sorry Elena. I promise this won't happen again. I am sorry for your loss.
He hugged her protectively. Albert and Louis joined them. After a while they broke the hug and Elena said," Either way, I must thank you William. Its after so long I am able to speak again. But my throat hurts now.
She rubbed her throat to try and ease the pain ( I have 0 knowledge about medics)
Louis: Come inside onne san. I will give you warm water to drink.
They went back to the mansion.
_At night_
*Knocking**
Elena opened her door and saw James standing along with others.
James: I heard you got your voice back. PLEASE SAY SOMETHING. I AM DYING TO HEAR WHAT YOU SOUND LIKE. Is your throat still hurting?
Elena: No the pain is still there but not that much.
James: OMG YOU SOUND SO AMAZING! I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU! I had trust on William.
Elena chuckles and thanks them. They bid each other good night. Elena went back and sat down by the window. Tonight is just not a night she will be able to sleep. Well obviously its exciting! She got her voice back just when she was losing hope. She said quietly," Are you attacking me Ruth?". No matter how much time passes, she will never forget her. Why? Well its just how it is. She was her 1st best friend, her kind of soulmate. Ruth helped her with everything, from dragging both of them to find a shelter and work to treating her wounds whenever she got hurt. From trying to protect her when they both got kidnapped to consoling and putting up with her silence every day until.....until god took their angel sent to earth back to their heaven where she belongs. Ruth...Ruth...she was just so selfless...Elena would have not been hurt this much if she died naturally or was murdered or even suicided. Don't get her wrong. She never said murder or suicide is good. Its just before she died, she had her dignity stripped away. She must have cried, shouted, screamed to stop it. But her screams fell to deaf ears. Elena's face was once again wet with tears. But this time she will use her voice.

She stops, tears uncontrollably flowing. She wiped her face and sat staring at the night sky.
