**KIRI'S POV ✨**
Alce stood nervously outside the gates of GOLD University, her heart racing with a mix of excitement and apprehension. It had been a year since she last saw her classmates, and she wasn't sure how they would react to her sudden return. She took a deep breath and pushed open the gate inside. Her classmates spotted her almost immediately.
Seeing Alce again after so long was surreal. It was as if a missing piece of our group had finally returned. Her presence brought unexpected joy and a renewed sense of purpose. As Kay, Alce, and I walked onto the training field, I felt the ground beneath me respond to my emotions, tiny tremors echoing my excitement. It had been such a long time since our group felt complete, and with Alce back, it felt like things were falling into place.
When Jake rushed forward and hugged Alce, I couldn't help but smile. We all had questions, and the flood of inquiries from our classmates was inevitable. Alce handled it with grace, explaining her absence as being in a coma and her struggle to find her way back. The story was met with a mix of astonishment and empathy.
We had missed her deeply, and knowing she had been through such a harrowing experience only made our reunion more poignant. As everyone began reintroducing themselves and showing off their powers, it felt like a family reunion. Despite the time apart, the camaraderie was as strong as ever. It was incredible to see how everyone's abilities had progressed. Each demonstration was a reminder of the unique talents within our group and the potential we had when united.
"Jake, gravity manipulation," Jake said, hovering slightly off the ground to demonstrate. His control over gravity had improved significantly, and he managed to maintain his position effortlessly.
"Lila, material imagination," Lila added, conjuring a beautiful doll out of thin air. Her ability to create tangible objects from her imagination never ceased to amaze me, and the intricacy of the doll's eyes showcased her growth.
"Eva, thread manipulation," Eva said, a sphere of thread floating effortlessly in her hand. She moved the sphere with such precision and grace, making it dance in the air before letting it dissolve and become her scarf.
"Ren, electricity control," Ren stated, sparks crackling between his fingers. The sparks were more controlled and brighter than I remembered, a testament to his dedication to mastering his power.
"Asher, enhanced hearing," Asher nodded, his eyes twinkling with curiosity. He could hear conversations from incredible distances and even pick up on the faintest of sounds, a skill that had proven invaluable on numerous occasions.
"Jade, mirror manipulation," Jade reflected light, creating a dazzling display. Her mirrors could bend light and create illusions, a power that was as beautiful as it was strategic in its uses.
"Max, speedster," Max zipped around us, a blur of motion. His speed was astounding, and he stopped beside Alce with a grin, barely breaking a sweat.
"Mik, air force," Mik sent a gentle breeze through the field. He could manipulate the air to create powerful gusts or gentle breezes, a talent that could be both comforting and devastating.
