That's our villain 'Overseer'✨✨
Alce's pov
Kay's home had always felt like a refuge to me. The small, cozy space was a stark contrast to the turmoil that constantly swirled around me. As I sat at his kitchen table, the golden glow of the setting sun filtering through the curtains, I felt a knot tighten in my stomach. Tonight, I had to tell Kay the truth—a truth that could shatter our friendship, or perhaps, fortify it in ways I couldn't yet comprehend.
Kay gestured towards the bed and we both sat on each side facing each other. "So, how about we get started with your long story?", Kay said with determination in his vioce .
"Kay, there's something I need to tell you," I began, my voice barely above a whisper.
" Hmm "was all I got as a response. His eyes, always so gentle and kind, now mirrored the worry I felt inside.
"What's wrong, Alce? You know you can tell me anything."
I took a deep breath, gathering my thoughts. "I'm not just human, Kay. I'm... I'm half-demon and half-god."For a moment, his expression was a mixture of confusion and disbelief.
"What? Are you serious?"I nodded, my eyes pleading for understanding. "I am. And it's not just that. Both demons and gods are after me. They want me because of my powers."
Kay's eyes widened. "Powers? What kind of powers?"
Another deep breath. "I can use many different kinds of powers. Healing, manipulating elements, teleportation and many more .But each power has its boundaries. For example, I used blood recovery to patch myself up after being cut in pieces."
"Blood recovery? What does that even mean?" he asked, his voice tinged with shock.
"When my body is cut and the blood starts scattering, it joins itself together, and my bodily recovery powers activate, stitching the muscles and tissues back together. But it's not something I can use continuously. I have to wait for my powers to recover. Right now, my body is too weak to be a vessel for such powers atleast for few years ," I explained, my voice laced with frustration and sadness.
Kay reached out and took my hand, his grip firm and reassuring. "Alce, why didn't you tell me sooner? What's wrong with these demons and gods? Why are they after you?"I sighed, feeling the weight of centuries of conflict on my shoulders.
"The demons see me as a threat because of my divine blood. They think I could be used against them. The gods, on the other hand, view my demon side as a blight, something that needs to be purified or eradicated. Both sides want to use me for their own ends, or worse, destroy me to prevent the other from gaining an advantage."
Kay squeezed my hand, his expression softening. "We'll figure this out, Alce. You're not alone in this."A small smile tugged at my lips, grateful for his unwavering support. "Thank you, Kay. You have no idea how much that means to me."
After a moment, I shifted the conversation, my tone becoming playful. "So, any updates on the situation with you and Kiri?""You asking about my lovelife ?", Kay asked with mischief.
"No Kay I am asking you about your sexlife so no progress yet ?",I said in a blunt manner.
Kay turned a deep shade of red, stammering. "N-no! I mean, maybe. Okay, yes. I mean, Kiri and I have been dating for a while now, but... we haven't really, um, done anything. You know, intimate."
