The boy in the woods (4) - KTH

"What do you mean Taehyung?"

"Humans are not allowed in this painting. You were an exception but there's a limit for you too. You can only stay here for 3 hours and 2 ½ hours have already finished. You only have ½ hour to spend here,with me"

As he said that, his smile faltered a bit, so did yours. You actually liked taehyung. And, that was your first kiss since you've never had a boyfriend before.

"But the thing is, only Jin knows how to make you go back to the real world and he's nowhere to be seen .So we need to wait for him"

You both sat down on the edge of the forest ,looking at the meadows.

Taehyung kept looking around,clearly nervous.

"Taehyung? What happened?"

"The time is almost up and Jin still hasn't arrived. "

"I'm sure he'll show up, don't worry."

As we said that, the black smoke appeared again in front of us and Jin came to our sight.

"Where were you all this time?! You do know that she only has 4 hours here right"

Taehyung shouted at Jin.

"Yes yes I know i'm sorry I went to find something"

He took out a lily from a small basket he was carrying and gave it to me.

"You'll go back to the real world when you hold this lily and think about the place you were in before I dragged you here."

Then he gave Taehyung a flower.  This time, it was a rose. But it was black in colour.

"What is this?"

Taehyung asked Jin.

"Actually, since I found the solution of your curse, I've been searching for something which can let you go to the human world with your soulmate."

"WHAT?!"

We both exclaimed and looked at each other.

"I saw how miserable you were in this world , even without the curse. You might be in danger again if the witch finds out that you broke the curse. So I searched and searched for something to help you.Last month, I came across some old books of my ancestors . There were so many spells in there which no one knew about, including me. I knew that they might help you to go to the human world. So I have been experimenting for the whole month and finally..."

"Finally?"

"... I found it!!! I found a way to help you. I put together many spells to make one big one and put it in the flower you're holding right now. Its called " The black rose" and I made that"

Jin said, proudly, before continuing,

"Now, you both hold your own flowers and Taehyung, you should think of Y/n as she thinks of the real world."

"Okay"

He said. We both held our flowers as we stood in front of the fairy, side by side.

"I'll miss you Jin"

"Me too"

"Aww, i'll miss you both too. And don't worry, I can come to the human world a few times too if you want."

"Okay then ,we'll get going. Bye"

Jin waved at you both, wiping tears from his eyes. You and Taehyung looked at each other one last time before closing your eyes and concentrating on the real world.

You thought about the art exhibition as Taehyung thought of you.

Soon, you felt the same weird feeling that you felt when you were sucked into the painting.

You were engulfed by some force,and lifted off your feet.

Suddenly, you felt your feet land on solid ground . opening your eyes, you saw the sight you had seen when you disappeared from the real world.

The painting.

You looked around and saw that everyone still wasn't moving.

"Why isn't anyone moving?!"

As soon as you thought that, the world unpaused and everyone started moving again.

You were still surprised by the pause -unpause thing. Suddenly, a hand landed on your shoulder. You looked around to see..

... Emma!

"Hey y/n. You've been standing in front of this painting since the moment I left you to look at other paintings."

"Oh uh hi Emma"

As she looked at the painting, you looked around again, searching for the face of the boy in the painting.

"Y/n! Look! "

You whirled around to see Emma pointing at the corner of the painting,which you had failed to notice. There was the painter's signature there.

"The painter and you have the same surname"

You read the name written there:-

"Kim Taehyung"

"Thats me"

You heard a familiar voice behind you and turned around to see him standing there.

With a boxy smile on his face, there he was,standing in front of you, the boy who had taken your first kiss,

Kim Taehyung.

"Hi y/n"

You rushed to him and hugged him, feeling so happy.

"I thought you didn't come"

"Why wouldn't I, you are my soulmate and the love of my life y/n"

"W-what?"

"I know, it's just been 3 hours since we met but I kind of fell in love with you the moment I saw you and I wanted to ask you if um you wanted to be my girlfriend." Taehyung said,his cheeks red.

"Omg Taehyung,of course I would love to be your girlfriend"

You cried happily, hugging him again.

He smiled and you both stayed there like that until a voice interrupted you.

"Umm sorry to interrupt but Y/n, who is he?I've never seen him around you before"

"Oh well Emma, it's a long story, I'll tell you some other time"

You said, laughing as you remembered the things which had changed your life.

And that is how their love story began....
