Mons sat behind the sonar console in the Array. The sound of the screws of a nearby liberty class unassured vessel fills his ears. So far, he has only taken down 4 U-boats. more than most ships would sink, much less encounter, but for Mons, it's not enough. He needed to at least limit the U-boat capability by 30% in order for him to be free enough to do what he needed and what he wanted to do.

But ultimately, after an hour after his 4th sunk U-boat, nothing, and he was getting mildly annoyed, even after telling the cargo convoy to defy standard anti-sub tactics and stop zig-zagging. There was still nothing. Maybe he had scared the subs off? It's possible, he thought. "Mons? why are we not following convoy Protocol?" Dot questioned.

"Because I want them to find us."

"Wha-Why!"

"Because I need to get rid of them so we can complete our task."

"Right, that, sorry."

"It's fine, Dot." Mons replied, sighing from boredom as he petted Patches, who purred in delight. Slowly, the ship cut through the depths, the sea boiling from the heat of the engines. Having enough, Mons decided to route from the mission early. The convoy was close enough to the harbor. After all, they should be fine, he reasoned to himself. So the ship sunk deeper, far below what any vessel could reach or even detect his presence. "Fuck it," Mons muttered as the ship lurched hard to the left under the waves. Curious and a little concerned, Dot questioned his actions. "What are you doing?".

"The convoy is close enough to the base, and we've got a task to do.""But what about Admiral Holland and the others? Won't they get upset?" "they'll just have to deal with it. I'm not one of their ships anyway. I'm an independent faction.""that's fair enough, I suppose." Mons nodded at Dot's acknowledgment and continued to sit in the captain's chair as the vessel fully turned around and headed perpendicular to the north of the convoy, right towards the north pole.

*After 4 days*

Mons is sitting at a desk with dozens of monitors displaying various camera views of the deep sea. Mons scans the various screens intently, which show various geological features, such as underwater waterfalls, underwater mountains, and some weird deep-sea life. This causes Mons to shiver in disgust, but just peaking on one of the screens is a jagged piece of metal—the unmistakable shape of a ship's bow.

Smiling, Mons leaves the desk and monitors as the ship adjusts course for the camera's location. Making his way to an airlock, Mons dons his Mjinoir armor and waits. The ship shudders as it halts, and Mons steps into the airlock. Slowly, it fills with water as the pressure rises. Once the pressure equalizes with the outside, the airlock opens, and Mons flashes out.

Free-falling into the inky abyss, Mons's armor activates its visor lights, barely illuminating the void of the deep ocean. After free-falling for about 10 minutes, Mons lands on the ocean floor. The sand flies around him as he looks around his landing. Seeing nothing, he starts to walk forward. Sea life and geologic features never seen by man appear and disappear from his view as he presses forward. Before he stops at what looks like a giant wall of metal.

"Dot?"

"Yes Mons?"

"Is this what I think it is"

"Yes sir, this is indeed the wreck."

Grinning, Mons jumps over the metal surface and lands on what appears to be a wooden deck of a mighty ship's prow. Faded but still displayed across the the deck is a massive nazi swastika. Mons looks at the symbol with thinly veiled disgust but is determined to continue his mission. Then, the deck under his feet collapses. Mons falls through two decks before stopping in a cargo bay.

Grumbling, he rights himself on the now metal floor under his armor-clad boots. "Okay, Dot, where do I go from here?" Mons asks as he starts to walk through the ship halls. The extremely muffled thumps of his boots pair with the groaning of the metal of the rusted halls as Dot responds, "Straight down the hall and then down a deck." Following Dot's directions, he stops in front of a large bulkhead. He decides to tear it off and place it on the side of the hall before walking into the massive engine room of this wreck.

"Dot?"

"energy signature detected to the left."

"Are we sure it's what we are looking for?"

"The radiation emitted is the same as that of the wisdom cores in Vestal's clinic."

Walking toward the Signature, he finds the body of an adult blonde-haired male. Stark naked, his clothes have long since been eaten away by the creatures of the deep. A dull, bright blue emanates from his chest. Chuckling, Mons comments, "Well, he is certainly well equipped." Crouching down, he stares at the man's face as his visor lights illuminate it more clearly.

"You think this guy is still alive?"

"The radiation signature shows-"

"That's not what I meant, Dot."

"then what did you mean Mons?"

"Forget about it," Mons grumbles as he grabs the body and hoists it over his shoulder. "Let's get back." Working his way out of the wreck, Mons, with the aid of a jump pack, jumps from the wreck to his ship and flashes back inside his ship into his med bay. Gently and respectfully, he places the body on a bed, removes his helmet, places it upon his side, and begins hooking the body to various machines. "do you really think this real work?" Dot questions now from a nearby A.I. projector instead of Mons helmet as he brings over a cart with a massive battery and two wires. "eh, 80 percent confident, but if the body isn't brought back first, it may cause memory and other psychological issues" Mons answers as he hooks the wires to the chest around the blue glow. Stepping back, he holds a remote switch and presses it. The body shakes, and its eyes open. The baby blue iris' dart around as it's chest heaves up and down rapidly in panic, and it sits straight up. Rushing to his side, Mons gently pushes him back down on the bed. "Whoa, whoa, easy buddy, you're safe here." Mons comforted.

"Wha-where am I? The sirens...they... I sank..."

"easy, don't think about that; you're aboard my ship in my med bay."

"Okay...you seem fine...may I know your name?"

"Olympus Mons, and yours?"

"Bismarck, I am Bismarck"
