4. The test

Everyone sat at the table silently eating their food.

I stared at my plate. It was a large breakfast, eggs and toast with bacon and avocados on the side, on Alice's plate was a breakfast burrito and Coyo had a mountain of bacon eggs sausage and wheat toast on hers. Everyone was eating their food but me.

"What's wrong with your breakfast hun? Don't like it," Ragana says to me.

"Oh nothing, i'm just thinking" In all honesty I didn't know how my new body would react to this food. I mean I was able to take a shower last night. And I am feeling pretty hungry now.

I take a bite. It felt like I hadn't eaten in months. I continued to scarf the entire thing down.

"Slow down it's not like its going anywhere" Alice says

"Shorry" I say with a mouth full of food.

Ragana hands me a napkin.

"Today i'm taking you for testing at the school, Ms algeria created fake documentation and things like that already, fake birth certificates fake social security everything"

"That's illegal isn't it?" i reply

"It's either that or nothing" Ragana shrugs

She continues to explain "we weren't able to find any records of your existence here, so you're most likely not even of this realm. Your birthday is November 23rd 2006, don't forget that, incase you do i have it written down on anot in your room. you're a transfer student from the city, who's only ever been to human schools. Do not mention to anyone about the prophecy and do not bring out that weapon on wrist unless it's necessary"

Not of this realm? Where else could I be from?

"I understand"

"Good, after you're done eating we have to go immediately."

"Can i come" alice asks

"Sure, Coyo you can join us if you want"

She shrugs "nah i'll be here training, you guys can leave me here"

"Alright don't over do it" Ragana replies

We all finish up with our food, and begin to head out.

We all walked to the school, it wasn't too far. And the morning air was cool and refreshing.

Alice was going on about how much I would like the school and how many cool teachers she had. I wasn't really tuning in on what she was saying, I was too nervous about whatever test there was gonna be. I don't really remember a lot of things from this world I'm supposedly a part of. Maybe it will come to me like muscle memory...hopefully.

We get to the front door and enter.

Alice began too explain "each hall is color coordinated, so it's easier to get through, the first hall is the red hall there's also a blue and green Hall"

The red hall had red tiles on the floor. I suspected the blue and green wings did the same thing so students would know which hall they were in. The halls were pretty empty, some students would walk by but they would be rushing trying to get somewhere.

if I wasn't following Alice and Ragana I would easily have gotten lost in these winding halls. We walk up a stairwell to the left of the main red wing hall. On top of the steps was the biggest door I've seen so far inside of the school.

The door was round and made of wood, like it belonged inside of an olden castle, but there was a modern looking red plastic sign with black lettering on top of the door that said "student shop".
