At the dining room table sat two packages.
One was a small brown box tied in a green bow. The other was a larger box, closed with packing tape.
It was only me and Alice at the table, she woke me up early. And the others refused to get up.
"Open the big one first" she says
"Why? Wouldn't the bigger one be something better"
She punches me in the shoulder softly.
"Don't be an idiot, open it" she laughs
"yes ma'am" i say sarcastically
She rolls her eyes at me. I begin to pull the tape off of the larger one. Inside it was a letter.
"Congratulations on becoming a yggdrasil student! were very excited to have you attending. Inside this package are your uniforms and other gifts and goodies for you to enjoy! Inside this letter will also be your class schedule so don't lose it!.
Best regards the yggdrasil welcoming committee"
I put the letter aside and pulled out a Blue and gray uniform. On the left side of the shirt was the emblem of the school. The shirt was a button up and it came accompanied with two ties a black one and a gray one. The dress pants were gray and perm pressed. A gym uniform of the same collars came inside as well. With accompanying sweatpants and sweatshirt for the colder weather.
"If the pants or the shirt doesn't fit we can get it tailored at the student shop"
"There's a tailor here?"
"Yeah she's pretty good too...go ahead and finish up" She says rushing me to open the rest. After going through the uniforms, I sat them next to me, there were more things inside the bag: a sugar frosted cookie, blue shades that said yggdrasil on the side and a bottle filled with green mystery liquid, it was viscous like slime.
"Ah healing potion, they give those out every year very useful"
"Neat" i say disgusted at the texture of the liquid
"You should go and see if your uniform fits but before that, go ahead and open the second box"
"Ok, your really excited about this one"
"Mhm"
I untie the green ribbon. And open the box. Inside was a bracelet, adorned with green and black beads.two silver charms sat across from each other on the bracelet. A cat and an owl.
"It's from me, i thought it would be nice and you don't really have anything of your own so i had this made at the shop...it's cool if you don't want it" she says looking off to the side.
"No...no i like it thank you, I appreciate it a lot" I take the bracelet out of its box and put it on.
"Oh his stuff came," Coyo says, rubbing her eyes whilst walking into the dining room.
She had a baggie hoodie on and black sweatpants as pajamas. She stood at the door squinting at us.
"Is Ragana up yet? i'm hungry" Coyo expresses
"Nope your up earlier than she is, surprisingly" alice says
Coyo walks over and sits on a chair.
"Alice make something" Coyo muttered
Alice just looks at me and ignores her sister's cries.
Shortly after Ragana comes down as well.
"Wow everyones up so early, goodmorning!"
