"You've been crying all week... You asked for this, Itumeleng" Akhona smacks her lips together in annoyance. "B-But I love him" I sniffle. "You don't say that to someone that you love, Itumeleng! He was ready to marry you"

"I know" I mutter. "Whatever phase that you're going through, fix it before you loose him" She clicks her tongue. "I'm trying" I croak out. "Stop crying marn" She urges. "He doesn't want to talk to me, he blocked me Akhona! I tried everything" I helplessly say.

"You're on your own on this one, You were engaged one minute and the next you're crying and sulking" She states. "I'm not ready" I keep on saying. "When will you be ready if you keep on giving up? Huh? That man loves you, he was willing to ruin his relationship with his brother for you marn, Dali!"

"I know! I know Akhona but I'm scared" She sighs. "We've already had this conversation countless times, I can't help you with this one... I have to go" She gets up and walks towards the door before leaving. I continue balling my eyes out on the couch.

Right after I said that I couldn't marry him he left me there and I had to come here all alone. I tried calling him but he blocked my number. I haven't touched a bottle of alcohol since then, I can't bring myself to do it. That's the only reason we ended up in that argument.

My phone rings and I quickly dry my tears, answering it. "Hello?" I clear my throat. "Mama" Oh my- "Hey, Are you two still okay?" I ask. "Mhm, we're coming to your house" Phiwe informs me. "Okay baby, I'll be waiting" I hang up and get up, cleaning around the living room.

I feel like such a bad mother right now, how could I forget about my own children?! I blink my tears away as I move around the house, trying to get everything back in order. The doorbell rings and I open the door and they walk in. "Hey" I greet Zinhle.

"You look like a mess" She bluntly says as they rush their bags up to their room. "I feel like one" I sigh. "And who's fault is that?" She raises an eyebrow at me. "I get it, I messed up- big time. But I'm trying to fix everything" I state.

"You better hurry up before Thendo uses this to her advantage. That girl gives me nad vibes... Mxm" She says. He said that he'll never go back to her and I trust him- he would never hurt me intentionally. "I don't care about her" I shrug my shoulders.

"That's the spirit... He may or may not be at his office, good luck" She winks before leaving and I mutter a thank you to her. I head up to Sbani's room and he's playing on that thing of his like always. "Sbani... I'm going out. Do you need anything?" I ask and he looks up at me. "Mhmhmhm" He shakes his head no.

"What's wrong?" I sit on his bed and he turns to face me. "What's going on between you and Baba Lindo?" My eyes slightly widen. "Uhm... Baby" I trail off. "Mama" He urges. "What do you mean" I rub the side of my head. "I heard Baba talking about it on the phone earlier, he sounded angry too"

Kwenzokuhle knows?! "That's grown up business, child. But I promise to tell you when the time is right. I don't want to worry you right now" I peck his forehead. "Are you going to him now?" I shake my head no. "I'll be back soon" I check up on a napping Phiwe before heading down to my car, driving off to the company.

I make my way past the gossiping receptionist and into the private elevator. I head up to the 49th floor and get out but stop when I realise that I'm at the wrong floor. "It's upstairs" I freeze when I hear that voice. "or are you looking for me?" I turn around to to face him. "Thank you"

I aim to walk back into the elevator but he stops me. "Is it true?" I stare down at his hand that's currently gripping onto my forearm. "What are you referring to?" I raise an eyebrow at him. "You and Lindokuhle, are you engaged?" Mxm. "You should be worried about your wife's business and not mine"

"You're my wife, Itumeleng" The nerve if this man. "Was, Kwenzokuhle was. Past tense... We're divorced" I remind him. "Do you actually love him or are you just using him to get back at me for sleeping around with your sister... Don't be shy, be honest with me Itumeleng"

"I love your brother very much- much more than I've ever loved you. Not that you deserve to know that but because you asked. He's done a whole lot of things that you were unable to do while we were together, he's made me happy- very happy and I'm glad I left you because I was able to meet him"

"You are not even close to him- all you were able to do was cheat on me and impregnate my sister or many other women that I still may not know of... I don't want you getting involved... You're a married man, act like one. Congratulations once again"

"Itumeleng, Nhliziyo yami Ngiyakucela. Please come home so that we can be a happy family again. I miss you- I miss us" He states. "I don't think that your wife would be pleased to hear those exact words coming out of your mouth... Stay out of my way and I'll happily stay out of yours. Kwenzo"

"Have a happy life" I angrily say as I snatch my arn back and get into the elevator, pressing the 50th floor. I get out, walking into the office. I watch as his eyes move from the laptop and up to minez where they slightly stop.

"Ufunani la, Itumeleng?"
