WHO IS VANESSA?
IT WAS CONFUSING...And you were just now realizing there were actual doors that simply led in and out of the daycare from the opposite end of the slide entrance. Did this mean you would make the extra 5-minute commute to walk around and come through the doors like a proper, refined employee?
No. Most likely not.
You picked up Alex, who simply smiled and hummed, peppering your face in stickers and glitter, as Sundrop turned to gaze at the entrance, seeing none other than the most controversial security guard in the Plex. He smiled widely if he could even smile wider than the usual smiles
he had on his face, and stepped up greeting
Vanessa with a hug.Your face twisted up into something of confusion. The slightest scrunch of your nose was visible as you slowly placed and gently ushered Alex, the little rascal, off to play with his friends, who were deciding to play water guns with golden glitter glue as the substitute. To say getting off all the sticky crap on these kids later would be hellish would be considered a high understatement.
Brushing off your uniform, which you only managed to obtain by literally mugging a staff-bot laundry room located within the Plex after a tough day at work, being dragged by Sundrop's negative comments towards you, and made your way towards Sundrop and Vanessa, the security guard, plastering a dumb smile on your face.
Almost immediately, you received a nasty look from the blonde, green-eyed woman. You could almost taste the hostility, the disgust and the judgement. If that look had a taste and texture, it would be crunchy, and you were no doubt going to lose your sense of taste and break a few teeth trying to swallow it down.
Nonetheless, you persisted, continuing to step forward with a swing in your step, even adding some flare as a fuck you to the blonde woman, or, er—Security Guard, by the looks of it.
You even chose to speak, opting for a voice that was just as sickly sweet, yet condescending at the same time.
"Sundrop? Who is this? Never cared to introduce me?" You crossed your arms upon walking up and standing next to Sundrop.
You didn't care if you looked like a jealous girlfriend, despite hating his goddamn guts. Just because you were speaking to him now, didn't mean you were going to continue speaking to him afterwards. He was being a big goofy fuck, and not just because he was already a circus fucking clown in your opinion.
Sundrop turned his circular head to you, rays spinning on his head as his permanent smile, if even possible, managed to widen. The absolute visible fakeness in his smile almost made you punch him in his scrawny ass, thin ass legs.
