Summary: In a world where Omegas hold all the power in the wizarding world thanks to their calm and level-headed personalities and Alphas are only suitable for reproduction purposes and are treated as himbos with big egos, Harry Potter and Tom Riddle embody their secondary genders perfectly. When an unexpected encounter between two unexpected people happens, it leads to a reasonably expected mating.

Harry Potter was a fifth year Gryffindor who presented as an Alpha last year. It didn't seem bad at first since he was delighted he wouldn't have to worry about becoming pregnant.

However, he felt the social consequences soon enough and it felt like the Hogwarts train hitting him in the face. Suddenly, everyone thought he was incapable of rubbing two Alpha brain cells together, and he had to be helped to find books in the library while talking to him in a soothing tone like he would implode from with the slightest provocation. He knew he wasn't the most brilliant wizard out there, but he made it so far! That must be something, right? Also, he knew he had a temper problem, but it wasn't as bad as everyone was making it out to be. His problem flared up more often though because they kept baby-talking to him and that was annoying as shit. When he told Hermione that, the only thing she had to say was that it wasn't baby-talking, it was himbo-talking. It didn't make things better.

It was even worse when he found out this year that he wouldn't go through the expected career-advice meeting. It was an even harder blow since his beloved Head of House announced that to him. He had been looking forward to it from the moment he heard of it in fourth year. At the time, he didn't see the difference between Omegas and Alphas so he didn't realise that he wouldn't get one like the Omegas. The fact that his Head of House didn't mention it to him despite Harry asking her about it hurt even more.

Apparently, the reason was that Alphas were too volatile for the workplace. Even if he wanted to get a job somewhere, most workplaces would deny him. He didn't actually want to work, but having the option would have been nice.

His only method of sustenance would be mating with an Omega and bringing that Omega into the Potter family. That was the most he could do in his parents' eyes which would also make them proud. If he was confined to staying at home, he would still try his best to be outdoors. He liked the freedom of the wind hitting his face and running into seemingly endless fields. Ripping some grass out with his bare hands also sounded nice... Yes, he could see why he wouldn't be fit for work life.

He was looking out into the distance, daydreaming about a beautiful Omega that would sustain both him and their children. Suddenly, he felt a tap against his shoulder. He immediately snarled and growled menacingly, snapping his head towards the person who disturbed him. His eyes landed on a gorgeous, older Slytherin wizard. Harry took an involuntary sniff and if his nose wasn't mistaken, the Slytherin was also an Omega. The Alpha within him immediately intensified its growl, instinctively posing and displaying how menacing and protecting he could be.

A quick look at the school robes and Harry shut right up after the realisation hit him. It was the Slytherin head boy, Tom Riddle. The Omega was the most respected wizard in Slytherin and definitely among the top three students in the whole school. Above him was Cedric Diggory, a kind but charming Beta, but he left a few years ago and there was also a Ravenclaw witch, but she left as well... Oh. Harry gulped, mortified. He just snarled at the most respected wizard in the school. Fuck him.

His instinct and ego screamed at him to continue on posturing and present himself as a proud Alpha, but the rational part of his brain, the one who told him to stop being an idiot, told him to swallow the rest of his animalistic sounds and shut up at once.
